Jiang Yuelou and his team waited outside the blue cafe, poised for action. Lucas arrived punctually. Chu Ran, following Jiang Yuelou's instructions, approached Lucas to serve him. As she took his order, she observed his hands, noting that his forefinger and ring finger were not parallel, and his middle finger had a distinct thick callus, a clear sign of prolonged gun handling. This observation confirmed Jiang Yuelou's suspicion.

Following her instructions, Chu Ran then placed a bunch of yellow roses on his table, as these symbolize good wishes. From their vehicle, Jiang Yuelou and his team tensely observed the cafe. Chu Ran stepped outside, feeling a deep internal conflict. She found it hard to believe that such a polite and considerate gentleman could be Lucas, the notorious head of crime responsible for countless murders, despite the suspicious calluses on his fingers.

As Chu Ran stood outside smoking a cigarette laced with a small amount of opium, a test devised by Jiang Yuelou, Chen Yuzhi arrived and asked her for coffee. When she declined, he sat down nearby. Lucas then exited the cafe, and sensing something unusual about Chu Ran's cigarette, he asked her for one. Chu Ran turned to re-enter the cafe, but Lucas stopped her, inquiring about the origin of her cigarette. She explained it was from a small workshop.

Chen Yuzhi then stepped in, attempting to de-escalate the situation, but his intervention only deepened the danger for both him and Chu Ran. As Lucas’s cigarette fell to the ground, he signaled his subordinates to act. Seeing this, Jiang Yuelou and his team immediately intervened. Lucas ordered one of his associates, a woman known as Xiao Feng, to take Chu Ran. Chen Yuzhi courageously blocked Xiao Feng, engaging her in a fight, which allowed Chu Ran to escape.

However, Chen Yuzhi was captured in the process. Song Rong quickly drove Jiang Yuelou, pursuing Lucas's vehicle as it headed towards a church. Inside the church, Lucas interrogated Chen Yuzhi, but Chen Yuzhi remained silent. When Xiao Feng left the area, Song Rong quickly subdued the guard at the entrance. Jiang Yuelou then entered the church and confronted Lucas.

Lucas attempted to persuade Jiang Yuelou to join him, asserting that their goals could align, but Jiang Yuelou firmly rejected his offer, stating their paths were fundamentally different. Jiang Yuelou then lowered his weapon to engage Lucas in conversation. Seizing a moment of distraction, Jiang Yuelou and Song Rong worked together to kill Lucas. Following the confrontation, Jiang Yuelou and his team found themselves in a precarious situation, as the entire Hong Kong police force was now searching for them.

They planned to return to Jing City. Jiang Yuelou checked his watch before excusing himself to find someone. Meanwhile, Chu Ran visited Chen Yuzhi, bringing him fruit and inquiring about Jiang Yuelou's condition. When Jiang Yuelou arrived later and saw the fruit basket on the table, he realized someone had just visited Chen Yuzhi. Jiang Yuelou asked Chen Yuzhi about his plans.

Chen Yuzhi explained he intended to stay at the clinic, believing it would be convenient for both his work and his search for his sister. Jiang Yuelou offered to contact his friends at the Hong Kong police bureau to help find her, urging Chen Yuzhi to return to Jing City with him. However, Chen Yuzhi refused to go, leading Jiang Yuelou to subdue him and forcibly take him back. Chen Yuzhi awoke to find himself in the car.

Enraged, he opened the door to jump out, only to see Song Rong and Sun Yongren outside. Song Rong pushed Sun Yongren into the car, who, holding a cup of water, stumbled and spilled water on Chen Yuzhi. Sun Yongren urged Chen Yuzhi not to blame Jiang Yuelou, explaining that Jiang Yuelou was acting for his own good.

He revealed that Lucas's remaining subordinates had now made Chen Yuzhi their second target, offering a 30,000 yuan bounty to anyone who killed him. Jiang Yuelou was their primary target, making Hong Kong an unsafe place for Chen Yuzhi to remain. Jiang Yuelou and his team eventually parted ways with Chen Yuzhi. Jiang Yuelou instructed Chen Yuzhi to never speak of the events in Hong Kong again, keeping the truth hidden.

Upon returning home, Chen Yuzhi was overcome with sadness as he surveyed his familiar surroundings, acutely aware of his sister's absence. He began searching for her in Jing City. Back in Jing City, Jiang Yuelou instructed his subordinates to assist in the search for Chen Yuzhi’s sister, but their efforts yielded no results. Upon Jiang Yuelou's return, the Commissioner expressed his relief and inquired about the situation in Hong Kong.

Jiang Yuelou reported that while they found no further valid information at Shengde Hall, he was certain that a mysterious figure, Lucas's accomplice in the opium trade, was still active in Jing City. He admitted that this operation only dismantled a transit station in Hong Kong, leaving the main opium network deeply entrenched, and thus, he did not consider it a complete success.

The Commissioner, however, assured him that Lucas's death would cripple Hong Kong's opium transport for a considerable time, marking a significant victory. He urged Jiang Yuelou not to pressure himself and to take his time in uncovering the mysterious figure. Jiang Yuelou affirmed his determination to find this person. The Commissioner then revealed another pressing concern: there was a mole within the police department.

Jiang Yuelou deduced that the leak might have originated from a phone call Sun Heming made after discovering Chen Yuzhi. Meanwhile, Section chief Jin, boasting about his supposed heroics during the mission, spoke with a subordinate. He claimed to have led the charge against the drug dealers, stating even Jiang Yuelou couldn't have performed better. He then speculated about the vacant deputy commissioner position, believing his contributions would secure him the promotion and earn Jiang Yuelou's respect.

Later, Jin confronted Jiang Yuelou, implying that his mission in Linjiang was a failure, resulting in the deaths of several officers. Jiang Yuelou retorted that his mission was secret and questioned how Jin knew so much, suggesting Jin had unauthorized access to information. Jin then bragged about his own "secret operation" with Director Zhan, claiming to have destroyed two large cigarette shops and arrested seven major cigarette dealers.

Jiang Yuelou feigned ignorance and tried to leave, but Jin persisted, demanding an explanation for the supposed lack of cooperation from the Linjiang police bureau during Jiang Yuelou's mission. Jin hinted that Jiang Yuelou might have been pursuing personal profit instead of official duties. Jiang Yuelou, recognizing Jin's attempt to trap him with police regulations, dismissed him as too busy to entertain his baseless accusations. The investigation into the mole continued.

Jiang Yuelou's team confirmed that the call log from the day Sun Heming made the phone call had vanished. Checking the reception room schedule, they identified Zhao Xiaochun as the officer on duty that day, making him the prime suspect. However, Zhao Xiaochun had been missing for two days, reportedly on sick leave. His family assumed he was on a temporary business trip, and the police bureau believed he was recuperating at home.

Jiang Yuelou suspected Zhao Xiaochun realized he was exposed and fled, coincidently disappearing the same time Jiang Yuelou's team returned to Jing City. Jiang Yuelou ordered a thorough search for Zhao Xiaochun, alive or dead. Separately, Jiang Yuelou received a call from Director Zhan, who revealed that the patrol team had caught a smoker, leading them to Zhang Daqing’s two underground cigarette shops. Since Jiang Yuelou was unavailable, Director Zhan had enlisted Section chief Jin's help to dismantle them.

Jiang Yuelou, ever practical, stated he did not mind who destroyed the operations as long as they were gone. The search for Chen Yuzhi's sister continued. Song Rong and his colleague, in charge of investigating different parts of Jing City, reported their findings. Song Rong had investigated casinos in the west, while his colleague covered the brothels, confirming no suspicious activity related to the sister's disappearance. Despite the extensive search, Chen Yuzhi's sister remained missing.

Jiang Yuelou worried about her safety, given her young age. The internal investigation for the mole was also ongoing, with half of the staff already vetted. However, no connection to Zhao Xiaochun had been found yet. Jiang Yuelou remained convinced that the mole was still within the police bureau and urged his team to keep digging.
