While Zhou Bin and Sun Hanhan were traveling together, Zhou Bin went to answer a call. Sun Hanhan looked at Zeng Cheng's Moments and saw no information about divorce except for work-related posts. Sun Hanhan asked Zhou Bin who he was calling. Zhou Bin told her it was Zeng Cheng. He also said he had to go back tomorrow. Sun Hanhan asked him why, didn't they agree to stay for one more day? Zhou Bin said Zeng Cheng needed him.
Sun Hanhan became upset. She asked Zhou Bin why he hadn't announced the news of his divorce yet. Zhou Bin said Zeng Cheng was a very sensitive and fragile person. She had suffered from mania when she was in school, and he didn't want to stimulate her at this time. Sun Hanhan asked him what she was to him. Zhou Bin said after all, he and Zeng Cheng had a relationship for over ten years.
If something happened to her because of him, he would feel guilty. He said he felt differently about Sun Hanhan; towards her it was love, towards Zeng Cheng it was responsibility. In the end, Sun Hanhan believed what Zhou Bin said and agreed to let him go back first. He Zhinan looked at Gao Peng sleeping on the sofa. She covered him with a blanket. Early the next morning, He Zhinan woke up and quickly checked her phone.
She looked at Gao Peng outside and quickly called Qu Yipeng. Qu Yipeng asked her what she was doing. He Zhinan said she wasn't doing anything, just staying at home with her parents. Qu Yipeng asked her, wasn't she not spending the weekend at home? He Zhinan said her grandma's birthday was next week. Qu Yipeng knew He Zhinan was lying.
Qu Yipeng told He Zhinan that they had just gotten together and he hoped He Zhinan could be honest with him. He Zhinan hummed in response, and Qu Yipeng said he was just joking with her. He Zhinan asked him what he was doing, she wasn't fully awake yet. Qu Yipeng said he just wanted to help her wake up. He Zhinan said she shouldn't have let Gao Peng stay here overnight. She told Gao Peng to go home quickly.
Gao Peng said before he went home, He Zhinan should accompany him to the mall. He Zhinan didn't want to go. Gao Peng said it was to help him with his psychological well-being. When they arrived at the mall, He Zhinan received a text message from Qu Yipeng saying that he saw her with Gao Peng. Qu Yipeng followed He Zhinan to the mall. He told her he was very sad.
Just when He Zhinan didn't know what to do, Qu Yipeng's call came through. He Zhinan quickly told Gao Peng she was going to try on clothes. In the fitting room, He Zhinan answered the call. Qu Yipeng said he was going crazy with jealousy, but he still missed He Zhinan very much. Qu Yipeng said he was waiting at home for He Zhinan to come back.
He Zhinan said she would go out now and make things clear to Gao Peng. He Zhinan went out and asked Gao Peng if he was still using his parents' money to buy these things. She said Gao Peng was giving his family the cold shoulder while spending their money. She told Gao Peng if he really wanted to give her things, he should use his own money.
She told Gao Peng to go home and have a good talk with his parents. Sun Hanhan and Zhou Bin came back together. Zhou Bin asked Sun Hanhan what she was thinking about. Sun Hanhan said these past few days were too wonderful, just like a dream. Sun Hanhan told Zhou Bin that the road to her home was too congested at this time.
She asked Zhou Bin to drop her off at the ferry terminal, and she would go back by herself. Zhou Bin asked her why she didn't live closer to the company. Sun Hanhan said not everyone was like him; houses near the company were too expensive. Zhou Bin said he would rent a house for Sun Hanhan. Sun Hanhan said if she did that, she would become a 'caged bird'. She refused Zhou Bin.
He Zhinan called Sun Hanhan and talked about Gao Peng and Qu Yipeng. Sun Hanhan called her a jerk, and He Zhinan said that only by doing this did she feel cared about. While He Zhinan was conflicted about Qu Yipeng and Gao Peng, the doorbell rang. She opened the door and saw Qu Yipeng. Qu Yipeng kissed her as soon as he came in. He asked her if he was her boyfriend.
He Zhinan told him he was her ex-boyfriend. After they had a passionate time together, Qu Yipeng told He Zhinan that he wanted to marry her. But He Zhinan didn't have any thoughts on this. She didn't answer Qu Yipeng directly. Just as Sun Hanhan finished cooking, Zhou Bin arrived. Zhou Bin again suggested renting a house for her. Sun Hanhan was unwilling, feeling that she would lose her freedom that way. Han Su met the person she followed, Sun Xu, while running in the morning, even though he didn't know her.
