Synopsis

Du Ruyu, who has been a widow for 18 years, is determined to marry her four daughters into "good" families. To achieve this, she grits her teeth and, despite immense financial pressure, buys a house in the capital city so that her daughters can have advantageous marriages.

However, things take an unexpected turn as wealthy suitors fail to materialize, and instead, a series of young men enter their lives: the timid "second-generation martial artist" Lu Buping, the foolish yet arrogant Wang Mansion's heir, the socially oblivious but kind-hearted Fourth Prince, and Li Tengyun, who exudes positive energy but is constantly up to no good.

Du Ruyu finds none of them suitable, yet they keep getting closer to her daughters...
