The acclaimed international actress, Han Hui, was introduced as the lead. Jiang Fang revealed that the event also marked the official signing of Han Hui with Yaohua Media.
During the Q&A session, Han Hui stated that her choice of company was based on professionalism and a preference for merit-based talent selection over favoritism. A reporter questioned if her comment on favoritism was aimed at Wen Xiaonuan, the leading actress in Blue Sky Galaxy, and if Magpie Bridge, launching after Blue Sky Galaxy, intended to compete with Anning.
Han Hui clarified that her words were open to interpretation, reaffirmed her confidence in Magpie Bridge, and expressed hope that Wen Xiaonuan would not feel pressured but instead focus on her performance. Following this, the launch ceremony for Magpie Bridge officially commenced. Despite having an injury, Wen Xiaonuan, anxious about the film's progress, insisted on returning to the Blue Sky Galaxy set, removing her brace without permission.
She told Director Li there was no need to adjust the schedule because she was ready to resume filming. She apologized for the delay her injury caused and promised to catch up on the shooting progress, which Director Li greatly admired. On set, Mo Xiaobai, the male lead, warmly welcomed Wen Xiaonuan, expressing his long-held anticipation of working with his "cousin-in-law." Later, Mo Xiaobai playfully asked Wen Xiaonuan if she liked him or his cousin, Ye Feimo. Wen Xiaonuan dismissed the idea of liking Ye Feimo, referring to him as a "poker face." Mo Xiaobai misinterpreted this, suggesting she leave with him after the shooting and threatening to tell Ye Feimo. Wen Xiaonuan quickly stopped him, denying any such agreement. Wen Xiaonuan interjected, clarifying that she hadn't and that she was at the filming site, not the hospital. Mo Xiaobai relayed to Ye Feimo that Wen Xiaonuan was back at work, noting she hadn't even told him her schedule, implying her lack of affection for Ye Feimo. Ye Feimo, hearing that Wen Xiaonuan was injured and filming, became anxious and rushed to the set.
Back at Wen Xiaonuan’s residence, Ye Feimo’s assistant arrived with documents, lamenting that he had been working overtime while Ye Feimo was absent, seemingly acting as Ye Feimo's personal assistant. Soon after, Wen Xiaonuan's brother, Xiaokai, greeted her and offered her freshly made fish soup he had prepared to help her recover. Mo Xiaobai immediately interjected, stating that fish soup was not good for wound healing and criticized Xiaokai's actions.
Xiaokai defended himself, telling Mo Xiaobai to mind his own business. Wen Xiaonuan intervened, asking Xiaokai to be polite to Mo Xiaobai, their guest. Mo Xiaobai expressed concern for Wen Xiaonuan's health, urging her to rest, but she insisted she was fine and needed to make up for lost time. Mo Xiaobai admired her professionalism, but Xiaokai called him hypocritical.
Later, Mo Xiaobai noticed Wen Xiaonuan's ankle injury and kindly suggested she apply ice, asking Xiaokai to get some, which led to a petty argument between the two young men. Just as Mo Xiaobai attempted to help Wen Xiaonuan with the ice, Ye Feimo arrived, swiftly pulling Mo Xiaobai away and ordering him to leave. Xiaokai, grateful for Ye Feimo's presence, complained about Mo Xiaobai's behavior.
Mo Xiaobai questioned Ye Feimo's actions and why he was interfering, arguing that they would soon be family. Ye Feimo curtly told him to mind his own business. The two brothers continued their playful bickering, arguing over who had the right to stay with Wen Xiaonuan, until Ye Feimo declared their noise was disturbing Wen Xiaonuan's recovery and led her to her room for private time.
Inside, Wen Xiaonuan sincerely shared her feelings with Ye Feimo, stating that her proudest moment was now. She felt incredibly fortunate to work with such a professional team, trusted co-actors, and director, and she deeply desired to perform well in the film. From outside, Xiaokai and Mo Xiaobai continued their argument but eventually shared heartfelt advice with Ye Feimo, urging him to take good care of Wen Xiaonuan, especially given her temper.
Ye Feimo dismissed their advice, calling them both long-winded, unreliable, and gossipy. Meanwhile, Mr. Xu met with some men, confirming his target, Gu Yunzhou, was nearby and ensuring they had a plan. He then ordered them to attack Gu Yunzhou. As the men assaulted Gu Yunzhou, taunting him, Jiayi appeared, calling out his name. Gu Yunzhou, unarmed, was at a disadvantage despite his fighting skills.
Jiayi bravely intervened, cleverly using a weapon to help Gu Yunzhou fight off the attackers and escape the encirclement. Gu Yunzhou expressed his astonishment at Jiayi's actions, and she confidently declared that she would protect him from then on. The two finally resolved their misunderstanding, confirmed their feelings for each other, and shared a sweet kiss. Back with Jiang Fang, Jiang Ling'er excitedly proposed live-streaming their wedding as a publicity stunt for the company and its projects.
Jiang Fang initially hesitated, concerned about disrupting the current marketing strategy for Magpie Bridge. However, Jiang Ling'er persuaded him, emphasizing the benefits of multi-platform promotion and the positive impact on his career now that he was "on the right track" and everyone would know they were marrying. Jiang Fang eventually agreed, allowing Jiang Ling'er to enthusiastically plan the wedding, starting with choosing rings, then wedding dresses, and finally, the full ceremony preparations.
As the shooting for Blue Sky Galaxy neared its end, Wen Xiaonuan expressed mixed feelings of fatigue and reluctance to say goodbye to the production. As she prepared for the final scene, Wen Xiaonuan briefly reflected on her past with Jiang Fang, realizing she had completely let go of those memories. Wen Xiaonuan calmly observed that a wedding was merely a ceremony, and the marital life that followed was what truly mattered.
Mo Xiaobai, ever playful, told her that he only wanted her for his wedding. People on set admired Wen Xiaonuan's beauty in her vibrant red wedding dress, with one person calling her the "most beautiful bride in the world, no, in the universe." Wen Xiaonuan, in her stunning attire, subtly looked around, hoping to see Ye Feimo, unaware that Mo Xiaobai had already informed him of the day's events.
Mo Xiaobai sent a text to Ye Feimo announcing that it was the final day of shooting and that he was "marrying Wen Xiaonuan," asking Ye Feimo how he looked. Later, Mo Xiaobai wondered if Ye Feimo's lack of reply meant he was jealous and jokingly suggested Ye Feimo was intentionally absent because of their "marriage." As Wen Xiaonuan prepared for her final scene, she was called by Director Li and promised to do her best.
During the scene, Wen Xiaonuan, embodying her character, delivered poignant lines about love, asking if it was about holding hands and growing old, or a deeper connection beyond time. The character's lines about love perfectly mirrored Wen Xiaonuan's own feelings for Ye Feimo. As she looked at him standing on set, she passionately delivered her dialogue, embodying the Weaver Girl, while Ye Feimo seemed to be the Cowherd receiving her deep affection.
She declared that love was the most beautiful thing, unrelated to status, time, material possessions, or past experiences. She believed that if two hearts could connect, they could overcome anything, turning all experiences into bliss. The scene culminated with the traditional wedding bows, and then Director Li called "Cut!" Amidst cheers, the cast and crew celebrated the successful wrap of Blue Sky Galaxy. Director Li Can also reconciled with Zhou Xiaojing. Ye Feimo, meanwhile, continued to watch Wen Xiaonuan with deep affection.
