This health scare was a serious recurrence of a past issue, as he had previously suffered a gastric ulcer after another breakup.
At the hospital, Gong Wenxing confronted Su Kelan, accusing her of being selfish for dragging Yu Hao into a relationship only to discard him when she grew tired. He argued that Yu Hao would have supported her desire to care for her mother, questioning if her actions stemmed from a lack of love.
Han Meng intervened, defending Su Kelan, but was silenced when Gong Wenxing revealed the cause of Yu Hao’s condition: he had eaten all the dishes he had cooked for Su Kelan in the house he bought for her, including fried rice, scrambled eggs with tomatoes, instant noodles, and pork knuckle.
