Su Qianqian's sister learned that Qi Yuanbao had left the mountain and wanted to find out more, leading to many others also becoming aware of Qi Yuanbao's departure. With her out in the open, some saw it as an opportune moment to act against her. Qi Yuanbao, in pursuit of answers about a jade pendant, visited Yihong Tower under the guise of leisure.

After inquiring, she learned that the pendant was located in Fragment Moon Mountain and decided to head there. Although Chang Yue was present, enjoying a song and dance performance, Qi Yuanbao merely cast a glance his way before swiftly departing. Meanwhile, Qi Yuanbao's father and his contingent had already descended the mountain in search of her.

Qi Yuanbao pondered that a journey to Fragment Moon Mountain might reveal the reason her father severed her spiritual roots and shed light on her mother's death. Just then, Chang Yue appeared, intent on taking her back. Qi Yuanbao adamantly refused, but with her father's people closing in, she had no choice but to follow Chang Yue.

After a brief escape, Qi Yuanbao questioned why Chang Yue helped her when he initially wanted her to return to Qishan Sect, to which he admitted, "Perhaps I made a mistake." She then informed him that she had her own destination and he needn't follow, but Chang Yue insisted he had to. As Qi Yuanbao's father's group entered an eerie forest, Chang Yue's aunt, in the distance, released a poisonous miasma, forcing them to retreat.

Elsewhere, Junior Sister Shen was tasked with finding Qi Yuanbao before her father, Qilian, could. Junior Sister Shen questioned why her Master was so determined to find Qi Yuanbao, to which Senior Yun reassured her that whatever their Master did was for the benefit of the entire Su Sect. Su Qianqian's sister, also pursuing Qi Yuanbao, stumbled upon a piece of Qi Yuanbao's clothing on a small tree branch.

She successfully located Qi Yuanbao but chose to keep this information to herself, without reporting it to anyone. Chang Yue continued to follow Qi Yuanbao, much to her annoyance. She confronted him, accusing him of ulterior motives and calling him a "clingy tape" for constantly trailing her. She declared that from that moment on, they should go their separate ways. Suddenly, Qi Yuanbao and Su Qianqian's sister were swept away by a mysterious branch.

Chang Yue attempted to pull them back but was dragged along with them. They awoke in a breathtaking yet peculiar realm, confronting a colossal carnivorous flower that craved blood. The three worked together and managed to escape, though Chang Yue sustained an injury to his chest. Feeling a pang of guilt, Qi Yuanbao asked about Chang Yue's injury, to which he replied it was "nothing serious." She even complimented him, noting he wasn't as cold as she once thought.

Su Qianqian's sister, observing Chang Yue's wounds, offered him a healing ointment, boasting it was the best from her sect. Chang Yue accepted it but, noticing Qi Yuanbao's unspoken displeasure, tried to pass it to her, claiming his injury wasn't severe. Qi Yuanbao, understanding the romantic implication of the gift, declined, stating her own injury was also minor. Chang Yue, now grasping the deeper meaning of such a gift, returned the medicine pack to Su Qianqian's sister.

Feeling deeply embarrassed and humiliated, she stormed off, blaming Qi Yuanbao. Shortly after, Chang Yue began to feel weak and dizzy from the carnivorous flower's venom. Meanwhile, Su Qianqian and Xue Hanyu were also navigating the ominous forest. Su Qianqian complained about its creepiness and Xue Hanyu's slow pace before accidentally falling and realizing she had been bitten by a snake.

Xue Hanyu confirmed the snake's venom was deadly and that the poison needed to be expelled immediately to save her life. Su Qianqian, panicking, begged Xue Hanyu to suck out the venom. However, Xue Hanyu, scoffing at her, suggested she had been reading too many romance novels, as no one in reality would suck out snake venom with their mouth unless they were a "fool."

As Su Qianqian cried in pain, he pulled out a knife, intending to cut open the wound to release the blood, much to her renewed horror and protest. Back with Qi Yuanbao and Chang Yue, Qi Yuanbao realized Chang Yue was indeed poisoned by the carnivorous flower and needed help. Despite Chang Yue's initial reluctance and an attempt to hide a peculiar, glowing item on his person, Qi Yuanbao insisted on helping.

She leaned in and began to suck the poisoned blood from his chest, emphatically stating that she had no other intentions. As she did, Chang Yue's heart began to pound rapidly, and Qi Yuanbao herself felt a blush creep onto her face, suddenly feeling a surge of embarrassment.
