Dear Mr. Heavenly Fox Episode 2 Recap
> Dear Mr. Heavenly Fox Recap
Su Qianqian confronting Qi Yuanbao, accusing her of being shameless for bringing backup. As their argument escalates, a flower basket is knocked over, scattering petals across the street. Suddenly, Su Qianqian's elder sister attacks Qi Yuanbao with a sword, seeking revenge for her sister. Chang Yue intervenes, and in the struggle, his face is revealed when his veil is cut. Qi Yuanbao is mesmerized by his handsome appearance and thanks him for the rescue.
Chang Yue swiftly carries Qi Yuanbao away from the scene. As Chang Yue flies through the air with Qi Yuanbao, she bombards him with questions, wondering if they have met before and praising his extraordinary demeanor, which he curtly dismisses as frivolous. Chang Yue takes Qi Yuanbao to a secluded alley where his subordinate, Hu Bulin, attempts to extract Chang Yue's heart soul from her, but fails. The subordinate suggests that perhaps only Chang Yue himself can retrieve it.
Just then, Qi Yuanbao's senior brother, Xue Hanyu, arrives, calling out for her. To avoid alerting Qi Yuanbao’s companion, Chang Yue and his subordinate decide to retreat for now. After Chang Yue's departure, Qi Yuanbao finds herself constantly thinking about the mysterious young man, though she has no idea how to find him. Back home, Qi Yuanbao is secretly playing dice with Xue Hanyu when Huo Shuyai arrives. She quickly urges Xue Hanyu to hide the dice.
Huo Shuyai expresses concern for Qi Yuanbao's injuries from her recent altercation with Su Qianqian and brings a premium ointment to help her heal quickly without scars. Qi Yuanbao is pleased and allows Huo Shuyai to personally apply the medicine, affectionately calling him "Brother Shuya." Meanwhile, the seven-day deadline to retrieve his heart soul is fast approaching, and Chang Yue is perplexed by the heart soul's protective behavior towards Qi Yuanbao. Feeling the urgency, he resolves to personally retrieve it.
That night, Qi Yuanbao, accompanied by Xue Hanyu, attempts to sneak out of her home to attend a martial arts competition. Chang Yue appears on the rooftop, blocking her escape. He tries once more to retrieve his heart soul, but it proves impossible. In their struggle, they accidentally fall from the rooftop, landing in plain sight of several onlookers. Seeing they have been exposed, Chang Yue quickly departs. Later, Chang Yue's aunt questions him about the heart soul.
Chang Yue admits the situation is far more complicated than he anticipated. His aunt reveals the North Sea barrier is weakening, and the fox spirits are suffering greatly trying to repair it. Chang Yue's subordinate then proposes a drastic measure: "emotional cultivation." He explains that if Chang Yue can make Qi Yuanbao fall in love with him, their hearts will merge, and the heart soul will naturally be returned. Chang Yue is initially very reluctant, dismissing the idea as "impossible."
Back at Qi Shan Sect, Uncle Huan severely scolds Qi Yuanbao for her public behavior at the cultivator assembly, confining her to Reflection Cliff and forbidding her from leaving without his permission. Qi Yuanbao complains about the unfairness, noting that her previously severed spiritual root is now mysteriously healing, and wonders what grudge the mysterious man holds against her to attack her repeatedly.
Concerned that trouble will eventually find Qi Yuanbao, especially with her suspected connection to the "spirit child's descent," Uncle Huan decides to find a strict tutor to properly discipline her. Chang Yue, still contemplating the emotional cultivation strategy, sees a public notice seeking a tutor for Qishan Gate's young lady. Recognizing this as a perfect opportunity to get close to Qi Yuanbao, he applies for the position.
As Chang Yue and his subordinate approach the Qishan Sect on Qishan Mountain, they encounter a barrier. Chang Yue's subordinate nearly reveals his true form, but Chang Yue quickly maintains his composure, preventing Uncle Huan from becoming suspicious. Qi Yuanbao, initially annoyed about having a tutor, is left speechless when Chang Yue arrives, captivated by his handsome appearance.
During their first lesson, Qi Yuanbao attempts to disrupt the class by offering him a green pomelo and defiantly reciting a cheeky poem when asked to compose one. Chang Yue, seeing through her mischief, uses his magic to immobilize her, forcing her to kneel and serve him tea as a sign of respect. Despite her strong objections, Qi Yuanbao is compelled to comply. Uncle Huan is delighted to hear that someone has finally managed to discipline Qi Yuanbao.
Still under the immobilization spell, Qi Yuanbao can only express her frustration to Xue Hanyu and curse Chang Yue for her predicament, unable even to drink water. Chang Yue's subordinate praises his master's ingenuity. Chang Yue then calmly declares the lesson over, leaving Qi Yuanbao stuck in her immobilized state.
