Upon Zheng Ziyan's persistent questioning, Lu Xun readily admitted that he already knew Lin Chen's true identity. He emphasized that he was the one who had stayed by her side all that time, understanding her lifestyle and knowing her preferences, thereby becoming a part of her life. In contrast, Lu Xun was merely her high school classmate.
Zheng Ziyan pressed further, asking what Lu Xun was afraid of, knowing her true identity yet still pretending not to. He surmised that Lu Xun was testing her because he feared the answer, unsure if she had ever liked him in high school and believing any such feelings would be long gone after six years.
Lu Xun then inquired about the contents of a certain letter, but Zheng Ziyan, revealing he had seen Lu Xun that day, refused to disclose what was in it. Lin Chen then arrived to pick them up. Later, during a members-only couple's interview, a director explained the game rules: wrong answers would result in an electric zap. Before filming began, Lu Xun asked Lin Chen if her arm was alright, and she confirmed it was fine.
