Lin Wan discreetly asked Lu Xun how it went, noting that Liu Yan seemed upset. Lu Xun then reminded Lin Wan about their agreement, stating that one kiss would cost her 10,000, calling it a "bargain." Lin Wan, annoyed, retorted that she knew it.
When Lu Xun asked if she expected something else, Lin Wan pushed him away, claiming she needed to go to the restroom. Later, Lin Wan's agent praised her for the performance, noting that the exposure would be excellent. However, her agent expressed surprise at Lu Xun's cooperation, wondering if he recognized Lin Wan from high school. Lin Wan dismissed the idea, stating they never spoke in high school.
Her agent concluded that Lu Xun must have genuinely agreed to Lin Wan's unusual contract. Lin Wan complained about losing 15,000 in one day, mentioning her savings for a veterinary hospital and demanding reimbursement from her agent. Angered, Liu Yan accused Lin Wan of acting tough because Lu Xun was supporting her and tried to search Lin Wan's bag, but Lin Wan stopped her. Liu Yan, unfazed, threatened Lin Wan with sponsor backlash and demanded she take responsibility by quitting the show. Lu Xun had security called and then, playing along with Liu Yan's "fairness," agreed that the item should be compensated.
When Liu Yan tried to corner Lin Wan into paying 70,000 and apologizing to the sponsor, Lu Xun "accidentally" knocked a cup of coffee onto Liu Yan's expensive coat. Using Liu Yan's own logic against her, Lu Xun calculated the cost of cleaning his coat in Paris, including flight tickets, to be 120,000. The friend then remarked that the girl pretending to be Lin Wan, while looking identical to the real one, had completely different habits. He used the example that the real Lin Wan always carried chocolates to replenish her sugar, and he marveled at how they had managed to fool everyone about her identity.
Later, while discussing Lu Xun with her agent, Lin Wan complained about him being "mean" and trying to "scam all her hard-earned money." She then accidentally sent this as a voice message to Lu Xun. Both Lin Wan and her agent panicked, frantically trying to recall the message, but Lin Wan's phone abruptly died.
