Si Tong went to confront Yueji, who was feigning illness and claimed that even Si Tong's master, Wu Yin, was being manipulated by her. She warned Si Tong not to be hostile towards her. Angered, Si Tong attempted to strike Yueji but stopped when Wu Yin arrived. Wu Yin then instructed Si Tong to bring medicine for Yueji. However, Yueji accused Si Tong of poisoning her and challenged him to drink the medicine himself to prove his innocence.

Si Tong accepted, drank the medicine, and immediately collapsed in agony. Yueji gloated, but Wu Yin intervened, explaining that the medicine was a potent "counter-toxin" that would severely harm an ordinary person, and Si Tong had been unaware of this. He defended Si Tong, stating that his apprentice would not have consumed a poison he had knowingly administered.

Wu Yin warned Yueji that if she wished to remain under his care, she must cease harming Si Tong, and then escorted Si Tong away. Meanwhile, Han Sheng was confined in a dark room by a spell, the enclosed space triggering traumatic memories of being labeled a "coffin birth child." In desperation, she deliberately wounded the mark on her wrist, a last resort to summon Chun Yao. Sensing her distress, Chun Yao rushed to her aid.

He tried to break the spell with his spiritual power, but it caused Han Sheng immense pain due to their conflicting energies. Chun Yao immediately stopped, promising not to use his spiritual power again. He then found an axe and hacked a hole in the window, allowing Han Sheng to see the stars and find relief from her claustrophobia. Seeing Chun Yao's deep concern, Han Sheng openly confessed her love, reiterating Wu Yin's advice to pursue love wholeheartedly.

She declared her unwavering commitment to stay at Hundred Spirits Lake and spend every possible moment with him. Chun Yao, moved by her sincerity and acknowledging his own feelings, took her hand. Han Sheng, seizing the moment, transferred her spiritual power to him, allowing him to finally unlock the door. As the door opened, Han Sheng collapsed, and Chun Yao gently carried her home. Wu Yin tended to Si Tong's poisoning.

During the treatment, Si Tong unexpectedly bit Wu Yin's hand. He quickly recovered, filled with remorse, and insisted on applying medicine to his master's wound. Wu Yin reassured Si Tong, acknowledging his courage but admonishing his recklessness in risking his life, and expressed his fear of losing him.

Wu Yin then reminded Si Tong to diligently practice the secret technique he had taught him to expel the demonic Qi of the Five-colored Lotus, which was crucial for his recovery and the lotus's maturation. Despite a playful exchange about Wu Yin's nagging, Si Tong promised to practice and even playfully suggested sleeping with Wu Yin, a request his master gently refused.

Later, Chun Yao informed Kong Lan that Han Sheng had been locked up, noting a peculiar demonic Qi on the door lock, and suggested Wu Yin might be concealing something, instructing Kong Lan to investigate. Han Sheng then arrived, interrupting their discussion. Chun Yao revealed he had discovered that sealing Han Sheng's spiritual power would prevent his own from absorbing it. He then presented her with a "Vitality-strengthening Bead" he had crafted overnight.

Touched by this gesture, which confirmed Chun Yao's true affections, Han Sheng reciprocated with her own unique gift: a kiss. They shared sweet moments, reminiscing about Han Sheng's wish to be with him forever. Their romantic evening was briefly interrupted by Kong Lan, who quickly withdrew. As night deepened, Chun Yao explained to Han Sheng that despite the bead, they couldn't spend too much time together as he hadn't yet found a complete solution for the repulsion of their spirits.

He urged her to return and rest. Han Sheng expressed her reluctance, fearing their perfect day might vanish like a dream, recalling a beautiful snowfall where he wasn't present. Understanding her heartfelt concern, Chun Yao conjured a magical snowfall around them, symbolizing their enduring bond and promising they would never part. Back in her room, Han Sheng felt a pang of incompleteness, realizing they hadn't said goodnight.

At that moment, a magical flower appeared on her wrist mark, a silent goodnight from Chun Yao, bringing her peace. Meanwhile, Ling Jun, back in the Monsters and Demons Pool, gloated over his control of Si Tong and the Five-colored Lotus, knowing this prevented Chun Yao from forging the Kunlun Mirror. His plan was to manipulate Si Tong into turning against them, thereby transforming the Hundred Spirits Lake into a "living hell."

The widespread outbreak of demonic Qi from the Monsters and Demons Pool prompted Chun Yao to rush to Wu Yin, demanding the Five-colored Lotus. Despite Wu Yin's hesitation regarding its immaturity, the urgent situation compelled him to comply. Chun Yao took the lotus, intending to find a way to accelerate its blooming.

He instructed Kong Lan to ensure no one disturbed him in the Pavilion of Destinies and to keep Han Sheng confined to the Spiritual Realm Pavilion for her safety. Simultaneously, Wu Yin continued to push Si Tong to practice the secret technique to repel the demonic Qi, despite Si Tong's struggle, emphasizing the critical lack of time. Elsewhere, Yueji harbored deep resentment towards Si Tong, blaming him for alienating Wu Yin from her. Ling Jun appeared, observing her distress.

He subtly manipulated Yueji, telling her not to be upset, for people trust proximity over truth. He claimed they were "the same kind" as Si Tong, yet emphasized their race's predatory nature. Ling Jun provoked Yueji by asking if she would allow Si Tong to bully her, to which she defiantly refused. He then offered her three incense sticks, promising that anyone who inhaled their scent would mistake their dreams for reality.

Seeing Wu Yin as her last hope, Yueji accepted the incense, determined to use it to secure Wu Yin's affection and exact revenge on Si Tong. Confined in the Spiritual Realm Pavilion by Chun Yao's orders, Han Sheng grew increasingly impatient after three days without hearing from him. She worried he might isolate himself indefinitely and, despite his immortality, she felt she couldn't afford to wait. Remembering she possessed a spell, she resolved to use it to open her door and go find Chun Yao.
