After being affected by a curse, Yao Fu regained consciousness to find herself by Yuan Yingxing's side. Yuan Yingxing, furious at her impending marriage to another, demanded an explanation. When Yao Fu remained silent, his anger intensified, leading him to imprison her indefinitely, vowing she would never again see the sunlight outside. At this point, Yao Fu was already severely wounded. Meanwhile, Wangyue had the Alliance Leader's Token and had departed. Feng Xingyun dispatched Yunmen disciples to track her down.
Concurrently, Chief Lu successfully mastered the Six Harmonies Palm technique and instructed Lu Xuanxuan to retrieve the Alliance Leader's Token. To evade detection, Wangyue and her group disguised themselves as Persian merchants. Ling Yin and Mingyang located Fan Hao, who ran a roast chicken shop, seeking his help to divert their pursuers. Fan Hao, initially reluctant, eventually conceded under their persistent pressure. As planned, Fan Hao led Jiang Yan to a secluded area.
Ling Yin and Mingyang then appeared, drugged Jiang Yan, and used him to threaten Elder Shen into opening the city gates. Prioritizing the safety of his disciples, Elder Shen complied. Ling Yin and Mingyang rode off, with Elder Shen and his men in pursuit. After the Yunmen disciples left, a group of Persian merchants, which included Wangyue's party, hurriedly made their escape.
Ling Yin had set a trap for Elder Shen and his group, using a potent poison she called Wu Xiang. Yang Qing and his men also tracked Wangyue to her hiding place. To prevent unnecessary complications, Yang Qing entered Wangyue's establishment alone. Upon seeing Yang Qing, Wangyue immediately followed him, and they spoke privately. Wangyue accused Yang Qing of betraying her by supposedly marrying Yao Fu, despite his earlier promises to reconcile their factions and release their people.
She expressed profound hurt, stating she had trusted him more than anyone, even Yuan Yingxing. Yang Qing, distraught, tried to explain that he had been under Yao Fu's bewitching spell, just as Wangyue had once been. However, Wangyue dismissed his explanation, arguing that his deep inner strength should have made him immune to such a trick, unlike her when she was vulnerable.
She declared she wanted him disgraced, not dead, and refused to return the Sun Blade, saying it would be a constant reminder of his betrayal and the loss of Yunmen's treasure. She then incapacitated him using Ling Yin's sedative. As Wangyue led the rescued Shengyue Sect disciples through a secret passage, they were ambushed by Lu Xuanxuan's forces.
Yang Qing, having feigned unconsciousness from the sedative which had little effect on him, rose to defend Wangyue, taking a deadly hidden weapon aimed at her. Elder Shen and his Yunmen disciples, who were being led by Ling Yin and Mingyang, arrived and intervened. Although Lu Xuanxuan wounded Elder Shen, she retreated with her forces without the Alliance Leader's Token. Yang Qing’s injuries were severe and life-threatening. Distraught, Wangyue declared her unwavering love for him.
Under the moonlight, they performed an impromptu marriage ceremony, with Wangyue vowing to be his wife for life, through death, and never to betray him. Soon after, other Shengyue Sect disciples arrived to escort them, including the severely wounded Yang Qing, back to Mount Yin. Meanwhile, Chief Lu celebrated the completion of his Six Harmonies Palm training.
Although Lu Xuanxuan failed to retrieve the Alliance Leader's Token, she informed her father that Yang Qing had openly colluded with the Shengyue Sect's "witch" and had gone to Mount Yin with her. She had already publicized this news throughout the martial world to discredit Yunmen. Chief Lu was delighted, viewing Yunmen's tarnished reputation as an opportune moment for Biluo Valley to rise and challenge Yunmen.
At Mount Yin, Yuan Yingxing, still holding Yao Fu captive and angered by her silence, was informed of Wangyue's return. He was enraged to discover Wangyue had brought Yang Qing with her and, furthermore, had married him. He called Wangyue naive for believing Yang Qing’s explanations and vows. Ling Yin, who arrived with Mingyang and Yunmen disciples (now forced to act as escorts), explained their successful strategy to get back to Mount Yin by disguising themselves.
She also informed Yuan Yingxing that Elder Shen was injured, asking for assistance to treat him. Later, Chief Lu, accompanied by several major sects, confronted Feng Xingyun at Yunmen, demanding he relinquish his position as Alliance Leader, citing his inability to retrieve the Alliance Leader’s Token from the "witch."
Feng Xingyun agreed to a duel, but Chief Lu, empowered by his newly mastered Six Harmonies Palm, defeated and gravely injured Feng Xingyun, thereby claiming the title of Martial World Alliance Leader. His first decree as the new Alliance Leader was the annihilation of the Shengyue Sect.
