Qin Zao arrived at Xiao Han's house and found that Xiao Han was not there and the door was unlocked. Qin Zao decided to enter and steal some paintings, but was caught by a fat man. When the fat man questioned him, Qin Zao made up an excuse and was about to leave when he received a phone call from a buyer who wanted to purchase a painting.
Later that night, He Ran went to Xiao Han's house looking for him but couldn't find him. He then went to see the fat man and while they were eating, the fat man told He Ran that Xiao Han rarely opens up to people and advised He Ran not to give up on him. He Ran was happy to hear this and ended up drinking too much.
When He Ran returned to Xiao Han's house drunk, he interrupted Qin Zao's attempt to steal a painting. He Ran and Qin Zao argued about a bank card and He Ran became emotional and passed out. Qin Zao then received a phone call from the buyer and called the hospital. He also answered a call from Han Yu, who informed him about He Ran's condition.
When He Ran woke up, he found himself in the hospital with Han Yu by his side. Qin Zao, who was waiting outside, overheard from a nurse that He Ran had leukemia.
Qin Zao stole a painting and gave it to Han Yu, but it turned out to be a fake. After questioning Qin Zao, Han Yu found out that the painting came from Xiaozhou Village and asked someone to follow Qin Zao.
Zhang Yuanqi was caught by his sister on a date, and when she went to his room, she found a sentence written by He Ran and suspected that He Ran was Zhang Yuanqi's object of affection.
Qiu Jiarong dressed up and imagined a scene where she would dance with Zhang Yuanqi. As she was about to leave, she saw the nanny being intimate with a man from next door. When she checked the surveillance footage, she saw Xiao Han and He Ran sleeping together in Xiao Han's house.
