During high school, Luo Zhi and Sheng Huainan were good pen pals. They both had a crush on each other, but Ye Zhanyan used tricks to impersonate Luo Zhi, and thus became Sheng Huainan's girlfriend. Now, Ding Shuijing often came to find Luo Zhi, asking Luo Zhi to show her around the school. So Luo Zhi took her to the library. Ding Shuijing accidentally discovered that Luo Zhi was helping Sheng Huainan collect materials to write a thesis.
Only then did she understand Luo Zhi's intention. Sheng Huainan called Luo Zhi, hoping to bring a small gift for Jack, the boy she tutored. Then, Sheng Huainan also invited Luo Zhi to have a meal and go grocery shopping together. The two talked about their last high school exam.
