Late at night, Gu Xicheng awoke to find Su Yanxi sleeping on the sofa, her bare ankles visible. Despite feeling a rush of emotion, he turned away to avoid awkwardness, yet his thoughts remained fixed on her. He rose to get some air and noticed Su Yanxi was about to roll off the sofa, so he quickly stepped forward and gently scooped her up. The next morning, Su Yanxi came downstairs for breakfast.
Madam Gu welcomed her, asking about her sleep. Su Yanxi began to say how comfortable the Gu family’s sofas were, but quickly caught herself and instead commented that the sofa’s unique color scheme was something she really loved. Madam Gu, pleased, told her that as the future hostess of the house, everything belonged to her and Gu Xicheng, and as long as they were happy together, she would be relieved.

Editor Chen then extended an invitation for Gu Xicheng to do a personal interview, especially since Master Huangshanyue, a renowned figure, would also be participating. Su Yanxi, overhearing this, became incredibly excited, revealing that Master Huangshanyue was her idol.
