Fei Yu, who is infatuated with Xiao Ying but understands her feelings for Yi Feng, overhears Chang An asking Bai Cao on a date. Fei Yu's attempts to offer dating advice, which are more suited to Xiao Ying's tastes, prove unhelpful to Chang An. Nonetheless, Fei Yu informs Xiao Ying and Guang Ya about the date, prompting them to follow the couple. Chang An takes Bai Cao horseback riding.
The romantic atmosphere is interrupted by the arrival of Ting Hao and Yin Xiu. Ting Hao, visibly upset, questions if they are dating, to which Chang An firmly confirms they are. A dejected Ting Hao leaves, while Yin Xiu ominously suggests using a particular "box" near Chang An, calling it his Achilles' heel, to pressure him. Later, Chang An and Bai Cao dine at an outdoor restaurant.
Chang An recounts their first meeting on a bus when Bai Cao paid his fare, and his subsequent impression of her when he saw her crying after the Pretty Girls Tournament. Xiao Ying, Guang Ya, and another friend, who are secretly observing, attempt to help Chang An confess his feelings by delivering a cake and singing a love song. However, Bai Cao quickly recognizes their disguise, and the trio makes a hasty escape, leaving Chang An and Bai Cao amused.
On their way back, Chang An leads Bai Cao to a beautifully decorated garden, adorned with petals, balloons, and a slideshow of their memories. He reveals it's the two-year anniversary of their acquaintance and passionately confesses his love, explaining how Bai Cao has changed him and asking her to be with him. As Bai Cao hesitates, Xiao Ying and other friends from the dojo appear, cheering and encouraging her to accept Chang An's proposal.
The romantic moment is interrupted by a phone call from Ting Yi, who asks Bai Cao for a favor concerning Ting Hao. Bai Cao then seeks out Ting Hao to discuss his reasons for joining Feng Yun. Ting Hao initially refuses to talk but eventually takes her to the place where she used to clean yachts, revealing that he had been secretly monitoring her movements all along.
