The enigmatic witch Xia Mo is an extraterrestrial from the Orion constellation. Legend has it that humans can form contracts with her; witnessed by the witch's necklace, by offering their most precious possessions and emotions, any wish can be granted. However, while the witch clan possesses powerful abilities, they struggle to adapt to Earth's environment and must rely on contracts with humans to obtain energy for survival.
Years ago, a couple sacrificed their lives to save their son injured in a car accident, establishing a contract with the witch clan. Unexpectedly, upon completion of the contract, the witch's necklace recognized their son, Mu Hanyu, as its master. Since then, Mu Hanyu and the necklace have been missing.
Xia Mo inherited the title of witch matriarch and is tasked with retrieving the necklace, otherwise she will endure five years of agonizing pain until her death.
Five years later, Xia Mo's relentless search for the necklace remains fruitless, and she faces imminent death from the torment of the bone-corroding curse. Meanwhile, Mu Hanyu, the beneficiary of the past contract – the couple's son – mistakenly believes the witches were responsible for his parents' deaths. He uses the witch's necklace as a clue and bait, intending to find Xia Mo and seek revenge. However, the car accident five years ago holds hidden truths, and Xia Mo and Mu Hanyu were acquainted long ago. A sealed memory and the truth gradually begin to surface.
