Su Mu observed Li Di bringing Tian Tian and her parents home. As Li Di left, he reminded Tian Tian about a proposal scheduled for tomorrow. Su Mu, who had been watching, froze for a moment before pretending to walk by casually. Tian Tian spotted him and quickly ushered her parents inside.
Su Mu walked away in a foul mood, muttering to himself about broken promises, particularly recalling Tian Tian's unfulfilled commitment to see a movie, and feeling as if she had also forgotten her pledge to make him ice cream. Back home, Tian's mother found Su Mu familiar, suggesting he resembled the plumber she had met previously, but Tian Tian quickly dismissed the idea, explaining he was merely their new neighbor.
That evening, Su Mu was on the phone, telling Wang Yanyi, who was helping him find a house, to choose any sofa they liked for his new place, and he would move in once it was ready. Later, Tang Mumu arrived at Tian Tian's house and informed Tian Tian's parents about a potential big order.
Mr. Wang from Wei Lai Aviation Company, located opposite their shop, needed ice cream and cold drinks for a party of 200 people the next day. Tian's parents were hesitant due to the large quantity, but Tian Tian insisted they take the order to uphold their reputation. She declared, "If we can't handle such a small order, how can we stay in this industry later? Take the order! We must take it."
Tian's father then called his junior brothers for assistance, confirming they would help. Tian Tian and Tang Mumu planned to prepare samples early the next morning. Later, Tang Mumu excitedly told Tian Tian that she had seen Su Mu at the neighborhood entrance talking on his phone, seemingly with a woman. She mentioned that Su Mu had been doting on the woman, telling her to pick any sofa she liked for their new place, implying they were moving in together.
Tian Tian tried to act indifferent, saying it was none of her business and that it meant she wouldn't have to make him ice cream anymore. However, Tang Mumu further fueled Tian Tian's irritation by revealing her astrological reading of Su Mu. She predicted that he would soon encounter his "positive luck in love," a deeply loving and inseparable relationship. This news made Tian Tian increasingly upset, leading her to angrily dismiss the idea and Su Mu himself.
The next morning, Tian Tian and Tang Mumu, dressed in professional attire, arrived at Wei Lai Aviation Company to deliver their dessert samples. Tian Tian was surprised to discover that the "Mr. Wang" they were meeting was Wang Yanyi, noting that "enemies are destined to meet." Tang Mumu presented all their ice cream flavors, which Wang Yanyi sampled. He then playfully scooped a spoonful for Tang Mumu, asking if it was sweet, and declaring it sweet because she said so.
After this light flirting, Wang Yanyi readily agreed to sign the contract. A shy Tang Mumu was quickly pulled away by Tian Tian. While signing the contract, Tang Mumu expressed that she thought Wang Yanyi seemed quite nice and handsome, but Tian Tian quickly warned her, "He is a complete asshole. I advise you to stay away from him." Tian Tian also observed curtains being drawn in one of the offices and remarked, "Why draw the curtains during the day?
What is there to hide? All men in this company are scumbags." Mi Ya informed Su Mu that as the main designer, he had to attend the upcoming celebration for their successful big order and socialize with partners. She reassured him not to be nervous, stating she would handle the social aspects and that he merely needed to appear with her to announce their relationship. Su Mu agreed to listen to her.
Meanwhile, Tian Tian and Tang Mumu successfully signed the contract, bringing immense joy to Tian Tian's parents, who immediately called their friends to share the good news and arrange for help. However, this large order meant Tian Tian had to cancel her planned painting session with Li Di, leaving him a bit disappointed. At the celebration venue, Tian Tian and her team worked diligently on the grand setup. Tang Mumu grew anxious when Wang Yanyi and Su Mu were late.
When Mi Ya and Su Mu finally arrived together, creating a stir among the guests, Tian Tian overheard that Mi Ya was the company's chairman. Seeing them together, a beautiful and powerful pair, made Tian Tian feel even more disheartened, as Tang Mumu commented that Mi Ya came with "your future," to which Tian Tian sadly replied, "I have no future."
Overwhelmed by sadness, Tian Tian retreated to her car for a moment of peace, removing her uncomfortable coat before returning to the bustling celebration. Su Mu, who had been conversing with partners alongside Mi Ya, noticed Tian Tian and walked over. He sternly reminded her that she hadn't made him ice cream for two days.
Tian Tian retorted that she had sent it via delivery, but Su Mu insisted, "I only eat ice cream you make," before demanding she make him one and walking away. Moments later, a server also asked Tian Tian to deliver ice cream to Mi Ya. As Tian Tian approached Mi Ya, a young girl accidentally bumped into her, spilling ice cream onto Mi Ya's dress.
Mi Ya remained composed and forgiving, telling Tian Tian it was okay and to return to work, despite another staff member scolding Tian Tian for her carelessness. Su Mu, however, swiftly reacted by taking off his own coat and draping it over Mi Ya, asking if she was alright. Observing Su Mu and Mi Ya's perfect match, Tian Tian started to rationalize her feelings, wondering why she was even upset. Heartbroken, she went to drink alcohol.
Mi Ya, showing concern, approached her to ask if she was alright after the ice cream incident. Su Mu also followed, again demanding his ice cream. Tian Tian, casting a grumpy glance at Mi Ya, told Su Mu to ask his girlfriend to make it, adding that she had been busy helping a friend with a proposal. Su Mu, looking amused, then leaned in and kissed Tian Tian, who still had ice cream on her lips.
After the kiss, Su Mu introduced Mi Ya as his elder sister to Tian Tian. Mi Ya smiled kindly at Tian Tian before leaving with Su Mu. Tian Tian stood there, dumbfounded and blushing furiously, before fleeing to the beach. Alone by the sea, Tian Tian’s heart fluttered as she replayed the refreshing and sweet kiss, wondering if Su Mu truly liked her, given he had kissed her right in front of his sister. She even confided in a small crab, attempting to describe the sweet and fresh feeling of the kiss.
