One evening, Su Muyun came to Su Nianfeng's door, urging her to open it and repay a favor she owed him. Despite her protests that the College Entrance Examination was approaching and she needed to focus, Su Muyun insisted his demand was for her to perform her best on the exam and live up to her potential with threefold effort. After she agreed, he gently reminded her to keep her word.
Once Nianfeng closed the door, Su Muyun remained outside, quietly reflecting that he only had three wishes and had given them all to her, before softly uttering the name "Zhuo Yifeng." Later, as Le Diyin was about to fly to America for medical treatment, Su Nianfeng and Su Muyun arrived at the airport to see him off. Nianfeng realized she had misread the flight number and they were three hours early. While waiting, she fell asleep on Su Muyun's shoulder.
When Le Diyin finally arrived, an emotional Nianfeng told him it might be their last meeting, advising him to take care of himself and avoid unhealthy food. She thanked him for his friendship and encouragement, promising to wait for him at Mingxian University. At Su Muyun's prompting, she wished Le Diyin a speedy recovery. As he departed, Nianfeng watched sadly, but Su Muyun comforted her, saying that parting is for a better reunion.
After the intense exam, Su Nianfeng successfully gained admission to Mingxian University's medical school. On registration day, she and Su Muyun arrived on campus. While in line, she gave Su Muyun vitamin C and cod liver oil, nagging him to stay healthy. He retorted that she was the one who needed the brain supplement. In front of them, a beautiful student named Ouyang Qingxue, a financial management major, introduced herself, catching Nianfeng's eye.
When Nianfeng registered, the registrar asked about Su Muyun's major. Nianfeng started to say he wasn't a student there, but Su Muyun interjected, stating he was an Artificial Intelligence major. Annoyed, Nianfeng deliberately cooked a simple meal, but Su Muyun praised it as delicious. The next morning, he was heard muttering that anything she cooked was a delicacy, followed by the name "Zhuo Yifeng." When Nianfeng asked what he'd said, he deflected, leaving her to ponder the unfamiliar name. At the basketball court, Su Muyun's popularity with female students was on full display. When he asked for water, Nianfeng, busy with class, sent Liu Zihui.
Ouyang Qingxue used the opportunity to approach, accidentally bumping into Nianfeng. Su Muyun immediately checked if Nianfeng was okay, ignoring Ouyang Qingxue, who then tried to formally introduce herself. Subsequently, Lin Di approached Nianfeng in the library, offering to be a model for her assignments. She firmly rejected him, claiming Su Muyun was her boyfriend. Lin Di scoffed, stating Muyun already liked someone else, but she stood by her story. Shortly after, a maliciously edited video titled "Mingxian University's Cat Abuser Su Nianfeng" surfaced online, showing only the beginning of the rescue. The video spread quickly, leading to widespread condemnation.
As Nianfeng visited Liu Zihui's place, where Su Muyun was also present, they discussed how well-behaved but strange Muyun had been lately. Just then, they saw the defamatory video and the backlash. Nianfeng was distraught that their act of kindness had been twisted into an accusation of abuse.
