While Liu Qi attempted to teach Xue Tong how to play basketball, Xue Tong struggled, though she seemed to enjoy the lesson. An impatient Liu Qi pestered Xue Tong to intervene, prompting Xue Tong to reluctantly ask Zhao Xiao Tang about it. Zhao Xiao Tang, after confirming Xue Tong was indeed his friend, agreed to add him.
Despite this, numerous other male admirers, learning Xue Tong was Zhao Xiao Tang's roommate, continued to bother her with requests to deliver gifts, making Xue Tong utterly fed up. Later, Liu Qi called Xue Tong, who informed him that Zhao Xiao Tang would add him. Liu Qi then asked Xue Tong to meet him on the rooftop, promising to reveal more information there.
