Revenged Love Episode 7 Recap
> Revenged Love Recap
Chi Cheng was just returning home from Wu Suowei’s place when he received a call from Yue Yue. Hearing this, Wu Suowei couldn’t help but feel a little jealous. Yue Yue wanted to accompany Chi Cheng to visit his parents.
Although Chi Cheng had always followed Wu Suowei’s opinions, Wu Suowei, knowing that all of Chi Cheng’s snakes were still with his father, agreed to let Chi Cheng bring Yue Yue home in order to help him retrieve what rightfully belonged to him. After Chi Cheng left, Wu Suowei returned to his room and discovered that it had already been prepared for a long time.
It turned out that when Wu Suowei had once mentioned that he liked the smell of a certain cigarette, Chi Cheng had remembered and quietly prepared it for him. The next day, Chi Cheng brought Yue Yue to the banquet his parents had long prepared. Yue Yue did her best to behave well, hoping to gain the approval of Chi Cheng’s parents. However, during the meal she received a message that left her uneasy.
On the way back, she realized Chi Cheng’s sister didn’t have a favorable opinion of her. Learning that Chi Cheng had brought Yue Yue home to meet his parents, Wu Suowei was deeply upset. Just then, Guo Chengyu appeared. Due to his emotional turmoil, Wu Suowei let something slip, which Guo Chengyu caught and used to threaten him—asking Wu Suowei to help him get closer to Jiang Xiaoshuai.
For Wu Suowei’s sake, Jiang Xiaoshuai agreed to go out with Guo Chengyu. Because Jiang Xiaoshuai had been busy and unwell recently, Guo Chengyu took him to get a massage. Surprisingly, Jiang Xiaoshuai became interested in learning massage himself and tried practicing on Guo Chengyu. Due to the awkward angle, their faces suddenly came very close, leaving Jiang Xiaoshuai a bit embarrassed.
Chi Cheng once again approached the snake farm owner, asking him to buy Wu Suowei’s snake eggs at a high price, promising to cover the extra cost himself. But the snake farm owner didn’t dare accept Chi Cheng’s money, so the purchase could only be made at cost. This left the snake farm owner quite uncomfortable—he wouldn’t lose money on the deal, but he wouldn’t make any either.
With the approval of Chi Cheng’s mother, Yue Yue was finally allowed to stay overnight at the house. She dressed very seductively in hopes of attracting Chi Cheng’s attention, but he was completely uninterested. Meanwhile, Wu Suowei sold one of his snake eggs and made quite a bit of money. Since he had received a valuable gift from Chi Cheng, he kept thinking about how to return the favor.
After not seeing each other for a few days, Chi Cheng came to find Wu Suowei. Chi Cheng’s affectionate behavior still made Wu Suowei a bit uncomfortable, so he quickly gave Chi Cheng his gift to ease the tension. Though Wu Suowei’s gift wasn’t as extravagant, Chi Cheng still appreciated it. Chi Cheng told Wu Suowei that he would be going on a trip with Yue Yue for a few days, just to appease his family.
Wu Suowei agreed on the surface but felt jealous inside. To reassure him, Chi Cheng kept comforting Wu Suowei. Jiang Xiaoshuai suggested that once the snakes were found, Chi Cheng wouldn’t have to be with Yue Yue anymore, and Wu Suowei wouldn’t need to feel so distressed. However, thinking more practically, even if they found the snakes now, Chi Cheng’s father might just take them again.
If Chi Cheng could make his father happy by staying with Yue Yue and then reclaim the snakes, they wouldn’t be taken again in the future. Wu Suowei’s behavior made Jiang Xiaoshuai realize that his attitude had changed—his sabotage was no longer just about ruining Chi Cheng and Yue Yue, but came from a different kind of emotion toward Chi Cheng. Though Wu Suowei didn’t admit it, as he walked down the street and saw a brand that Chi Cheng liked, he couldn’t help but step inside for a look.
