Revenged Love Episode 6 Recap
> Revenged Love Recap
Wu Suowei arrived at Chi Cheng’s place and found it uncomfortably humid and hot because Chi Cheng had specially adjusted the environment for raising snakes. Feeling uncomfortable, Wu Suowei went to the fridge to look for something cold to drink and was surprised to find the candies he had made stored inside. Seeing this made Wu Suowei smile with relief—just in time for Chi Cheng to walk in and catch the moment.
Worried that something might really happen between them, Wu Suowei wanted to leave, but Chi Cheng stopped him. During the confrontation, Chi Cheng tried to push further, but Wu Suowei warned him that if he crossed the line now, their relationship would become purely physical, and he would never love him again. Hearing this, Chi Cheng backed down.
That night, while Wu Suowei was sleeping, Chi Cheng gazed at him with deep affection, gently covered him with a blanket, and softly stroked him with care. Desire stirred again in Chi Cheng’s heart, but remembering Wu Suowei’s warning, he managed to restrain himself. The next day, Wu Suowei returned to the clinic.
Jiang Xiaoshuai, noticing he hadn’t come home the night before, greeted him with a teasing smile and shared the news he had dug up: Chi Cheng and Guo Chengyu were romantic rivals. Guo Chengyu had once stolen Chi Cheng’s boyfriend, which was why the two had been at odds ever since.
Wu Suowei became anxious upon hearing this, but Jiang Xiaoshuai reminded him that both Chi Cheng and Guo Chengyu were not to be trifled with—if Guo Chengyu ever turned against Wu Suowei, everything would be exposed. Still, Wu Suowei was already too deep to back out. Chi Cheng kept sending all kinds of health supplements to Wu Suowei’s mother. In return, she asked Wu Suowei to bring some corn to thank Chi Cheng.
Meanwhile, Guo Chengyu deliberately drove past Jiang Xiaoshuai’s clinic. Seeing him while watering the flowers, Jiang Xiaoshuai seized the opportunity to get closer to Guo Chengyu to help Wu Suowei gather intel. Wu Suowei also took the chance to find out that Chi Cheng’s job at the company wasn’t his own choice—it was forced on him by his father. Even the snakes Chi Cheng raised had been taken away by his father.
To get to the bottom of things, Wu Suowei sought out Chi Cheng’s assistant. Through their conversation, Wu Suowei learned that Chi Cheng’s involvement with Yue Yue wasn’t out of real affection. Feeling guilty, Wu Suowei went to explain things to Chi Cheng, who happened to be in a bad mood and drinking alone. Listening to Chi Cheng pour out his sorrows, their relationship deepened once again. Meanwhile, Yue Yue grew suspicious because Chi Cheng hadn’t been answering her calls.
She even began to suspect that Chi Cheng might have found another woman, which was why he had been avoiding her. Desperate to win Chi Cheng’s heart, she kept calling. The first time she called, Wu Suowei happened to see it and directly hung up. Yue Yue guessed the call was rejected by Chi Cheng’s new lover and called again, only to hear Wu Suowei’s voice.
She immediately assumed that Wu Suowei was deliberately sabotaging her and trying to ruin her chance at happiness. Wu Suowei told Jiang Xiaoshuai that Chi Cheng and Yue Yue couldn’t break up yet. Jiang Xiaoshuai was surprised, since he already knew their relationship was just for show—why couldn’t they end it?
Wu Suowei explained that Chi Cheng’s snakes were being held by his father, and Chi Cheng was only playing along with Yue Yue to please his father and get the snakes back. Wu Suowei wanted them to break up, and to do that, he needed to find the snakes. So he came up with a new plan: sabotage Yue Yue’s image in Chi Cheng’s eyes by making her appear to harm his snakes on purpose.
