Unbeknownst to him, Yu Fei and Brother Dao had spent the entire night searching for the sky lantern Yu Fei had released earlier, which held a wish for Bai Feili. Despite their efforts, they couldn't find it. Brother Dao comforted a disheartened Yu Fei, assuring her that wishes could still come true.
Secretly, Brother Dao had seen Bai Feili's car and suspected he had witnessed them together. He then found his own sky lantern, which held a wish for Yu Fei and himself to be happy. He pondered his role as a "supporting character" in love, making silent efforts and wondering if they would ever truly be seen. Yu Fei eventually replied to Bai Feili, confirming the pipe was fixed and asking about their date plans.
However, Bai Feili, feeling a pang of jealousy from having seen Yu Fei with Brother Dao, coldly told her he was busy and they would have to postpone their date, then sped off in his car. Reluctantly, Bai Feili endured the party, where Ms. Zeng gave a speech emphasizing companionship. He was introduced to his father's business associates.
