Jiang Kele thanked him, and as they watched TV together, she inadvertently fell asleep. When she awoke, Lu Xiao had prepared a large meal.
He had learned from Xu Nian that Jiang Kele particularly liked braised fish, which Guan Qianya had presumably told Xu Nian. Lu Xiao had made a special dish he named "Kele Fish" because it was cooked with coke and made just for her. Jiang Kele was delighted and praised his cooking, especially for a first-timer.

He thanked her for everything that day, admitting it was his first time dating, and he found making a girl happy incredibly fulfilling. He promised to make her happy every day from then on. However, Jiang Kele, while appreciative, expressed concern that focusing on her would distract him from his work. She urged him to concentrate on completing his contract tasks to leave Bayhouse as soon as possible, so they could date openly. Lu Xiao agreed to her wishes.
Meanwhile, Lei Na received a photo from Lisa, who had been fired by Guan Qianya and was now working part-time at a restaurant. Lisa had taken the photo when she spotted Xu Nian and Guan Qianya dining there. She claimed Guan Qianya had gone "crazy" and was dating someone who looked exactly like Xu Nian, implying it was a substitute.
Lisa hoped to exchange the photo for benefits, but Xu Guanghan, who was with Lei Na, dismissed the idea, stating Lisa already had a lifetime membership and taking the photo was her responsibility. Lei Na initially thought the person in the photo was just a look-alike, but then she recognized the shirt Xu Nian often wore in his room, confirming that the person with Guan Qianya was indeed Xu Nian.
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Xu Guanghan and Lei Na immediately headed to Bayhouse. At Bayhouse, Jiang Kele and Lu Xiao were enjoying a private breakfast made by Lu Xiao when Xu Nian arrived, intending to discuss something important with them. Before he could speak, Xu Guanghan arrived. Xu Guanghan instructed Jiang Kele and Lu Xiao to leave, as he needed to speak with Xu Nian privately.
He also ordered Lei Na to search Xu Nian's room for prohibited items, specifically mentioning that Jiang Kele had taken clothes away previously. Lei Na soon discovered a limited edition cellphone. Xu Guanghan, holding the phone and the shirt Lei Na had recognized, confronted Xu Nian, expressing his surprise at Xu Nian's actions.
Xu Nian, in turn, began to question Xu Guanghan, asking why their existence was concealed, why they were publicly identified as virtual characters in "Love Boys," and why the four of them were imprisoned. Xu Guanghan speculated that Guan Qianya had put these ideas in his head when he ran away, but Xu Nian denied running away or any involvement from Guan Qianya, stating he had found the information himself using the phone.
Xu Guanghan then began to explain his past, recounting his career as a manager who established Yao Inc. and nurtured many celebrities, including Qi Chuan and Ge Yi Lan. He explained that both had betrayed him once they became famous, leading him to believe that betrayal was inherent in human nature. This disappointment prompted him to initially consider creating virtual lovers without human flaws. However, he realized that human characteristics were crucial for success.
His solution was to use real humans as the source for virtual lovers, embedding emotional responses into algorithms. To achieve this, he focused on his newborn son, educating him strictly in various disciplines to make him a perfect man, a perfect virtual character. He then realized that women's demands for men were diverse, falling into four main types: gentle, wise, cheerful, and obedient.
Since his son embodied the wise type, he found three other children of similar age—Lu Xiao, Luo Ke, and Su Lie—to cultivate the other characteristics, which led to the creation of the group Y4. Finally, Xu Guanghan revealed to Xu Nian that his real name was Xu Jin, and Xu Guanghan was his biological father. Xu Nian was stunned and refused to believe it, reminding Xu Guanghan that he had always been told he was abandoned at the hospital.
Xu Guanghan admitted he had lied. Just then, Granny Fu Shun entered and confirmed Xu Guanghan's words, identifying herself as Xu Nian's grandaunt. Xu Nian, still reeling, asked about his biological mother. Granny Fu Shun reminded him of a movie called "The Production of Female Celebrity" she had shown the children on a Mid-autumn Festival, revealing that it depicted the true story of his biological parents.
The movie illustrated how Xu Nian's mother, Ge Yi Lan, was an aspiring individual who Xu Guanghan helped transform into a popular celebrity after a serendipitous meeting. They developed feelings for each other. However, Ge Yi Lan's career skyrocketed, and she became the public's fantasy.
