The next morning, determined to win He Qizhan over, Zhao Mengdi bravely attempted to cycle to work with him despite her inexperience. Unfortunately, she was hit by a reckless driver and fell.
Seeing her injured, He Qizhan’s anger immediately vanished. He rushed to her side, gently picked her up in a princess carry, and took her away, much to the surprise of onlookers who filmed the moment. Back at the office, Ye Lin presented He Qiaosheng with Tianzhuo's second-round bidding plan for the Hush Leisure Voyage. She noted that Tianzhuo’s proposal was very forward-looking, centered on an exquisite lifestyle for future elites.
He Qiaosheng conceded that Zhaoyue Corp.'s own plan seemed a bit simple in comparison, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss, wondering if Lu Zhiyi, a man known for his shrewdness, would truly make the same mistake twice.
