Flying up without Disturb Episode 1 Recap
> Flying up without Disturb Recap
Kong Hou lives in the Lingyou Realm, a world where cultivators dream of ascending to immortality. However, she was born without a spiritual root, making ascension an impossible dream for her. Nevertheless, Kong Hou holds onto her ambition to become a true cultivator, believing she can achieve this if she earns enough spirit stones to purchase a spiritual tool. Driven by her goal, Kong Hou works diligently to accumulate wealth.
She successfully sells all her Fairy Dresses, but the meager earnings are far from what she needs for a spiritual tool. Seeing her desperation, her fellow Yunhua Sect disciple, Senior Ling Hui, expresses concern. Undeterred, Kong Hou produces a rare bracelet, hoping to sell it for a significant sum.
She loudly advertises its uniqueness, claiming it was once worn by Master Zhong Xi, the esteemed Liuguang Sect cultivator renowned for leading the Luanfeng Peak disciples to subdue the Eight Corpse Kings of Mount Beigu, a feat known throughout the Lingyou Realm. Her sales pitch is abruptly interrupted by a commotion. A man in a white robe and veiled hat has blocked the sedan chair of a haughty Nascent Soul Elder from the Yuxiao Sect.
The Elder’s subordinates immediately reprimand him, but the Elder, struck by the man’s extraordinary presence, brazenly attempts to abduct him in broad daylight. Outraged, Kong Hou steps forward to intervene, invoking the name of her own master, Master Wang Tong. The Elder pauses, recognizing the name, but quickly regains her disdainful composure, dismissing Kong Hou as a mere rogue cultivator. Realizing she is outmatched, Kong Hou quickly grabs the man's hand and pulls him away, declaring they must run.
The Elder’s men immediately give chase. Kong Hou leads the man to a secluded spot where he removes his veil, revealing a strikingly handsome face. As their pursuers draw near, Kong Hou instinctively covers his mouth to silence him. To her astonishment, a surge of spiritual energy flows from his touch into her body, a sensation that leaves her disoriented and eager to maintain contact.
This unusual behavior causes the man to misunderstand, believing she is trying to take liberties with him, much like the Elder. Kong Hou denies any ill intent, explaining she was only trying to protect him. Just then, Senior Ling Hui sends a messenger talisman, signaling that she has gathered help. Kong Hou plans to lead the man to her senior sister, but they once again encounter the Nascent Soul Elder.
The Elder prevents Kong Hou from signaling for help and attacks. The man deflects the attack with surprising power, revealing his immense spiritual strength. As they fight, Kong Hou’s fellow disciples arrive. Seeing the Yunhua Sect disciples, the Elder swiftly retreats. Before they part ways, the man reveals he is from the Liuguang Sect, and they agree to meet later at the Jingxin Bookshop.
The man, now revealed as Zhong Xi, arrives at the Jingxin Bookshop with his junior brother, Lin Hu, to await Kong Hou. Meanwhile, Kong Hou attempts to sneak out of Yunhua Mountain, but she finds that a barrier has been placed, preventing her from leaving. Her senior brother confronts her, explaining she is under detention for sneaking out and for her safety, particularly given her lack of a spiritual root.
Despite the late hour, Zhong Xi waits patiently outside the bookshop until it closes, worried that something might have happened to Kong Hou. Trapped in her room, Kong Hou recalls the unusual spiritual energy transfer from Zhong Xi. She tries to see if she can now use spiritual power, only for her master, Master Wang Tong, to suddenly return, revealing it was his power that had dispelled the barrier.
Master Wang Tong, having learned of Kong Hou’s encounter with the Yuxiao Sect Elder, declares his intention to seek revenge. Overhearing that the Elder is looking for Zhong Xi at the Qingquan Inn, Kong Hou quickly writes a note to her master and hurries off to warn him. Kong Hou finds Zhong Xi and alerts him to the impending danger. They manage to escape the Elder’s persistent pursuit.
In a moment of quiet, Kong Hou confides in Zhong Xi, explaining her unique condition: she has no spiritual root and can only regulate her spiritual energy through physical contact with him, causing a surge of power in her. She suggests a mutual energy regulation, believing it would benefit both of them, but insists she needs to hold his hand to do so. Zhong Xi finds her story unbelievable, expressing skepticism and wondering if she has ulterior motives.
Before she can explain further, Master Wang Tong’s voice echoes nearby, searching for Kong Hou. Unwilling to be dragged back to the sect, Kong Hou pleads with Zhong Xi, who reluctantly takes her away. Zhong Xi leads Kong Hou directly to confront the Nascent Soul Elder, Zhou Xing, who is still fuming over not finding him.
Zhou Xing, sister of Yuxiao Sect Leader Zhou Cang, remains defiant even after being informed that Zhong Xi is from the Liuguang Sect’s Luanfeng Peak, the parent sect. She boasts of the Yuxiao Sect’s financial contributions and mutual respect agreement with the Liuguang Sect, claiming even Master Zhong Xi himself would defer to her. However, her bravado crumbles the moment Zhong Xi draws his legendary Dragon's Roar Sword.
Zhong Xi’s junior brother, Lin Hu, then recites a long list of Zhou Xing’s abuses of power, including bullying, exploitation, and causing harm to numerous commoners in Yong City, even presenting testimonies from her own disciples. Zhou Xing attempts to beg for mercy, attributing her actions to consensual encounters, but Zhong Xi questions her unusually high spiritual power.
Under pressure, Zhou Xing confesses to consuming Longgu Pills, a forbidden concoction she acquired from Qing Yuan in the Yunhua Sect’s Forbidden Forest. Following the revelation about the Longgu Pills, Kong Hou returns to Yunhua Mountain, hoping to enlist her senior brother's help to investigate the Forbidden Forest. Unable to find him, she ventures into the mysterious forest alone.
Inside, she discovers a spiritual tool and soon encounters a dangerous dark cultivator named Jiu Su, whose spreading dark energy immediately identifies him as a formidable threat. Overwhelmed and realizing her own limited spiritual power, Kong Hou attempts to use a defensive formation and threatens to call her masters, but Jiu Su dismisses her. Just as she is about to be defeated, Zhong Xi reappears and rescues her.
As Jiu Su attempts to flee, Zhong Xi quickly sets up a powerful barrier to trap him. Meanwhile, within the Yunhua Sect, Master Qing Yuan becomes aware that someone has breached the Forbidden Forest, fearing their secrets might be exposed, and other Yunhua Sect disciples notice the mysterious barrier. Kong Hou, relieved, speaks with Zhong Xi, deducing he is also investigating the Longgu Pills and Jiu Su. She is impressed by his barrier.
Senior Ling Hui, upon learning Kong Hou is in the Forbidden Forest investigating forbidden drug transactions, immediately alerts Master Wang Tong, who becomes highly agitated, threatening severe retribution against the Liuguang Sect if any harm comes to his disciple. Inside the barrier, Jiu Su challenges Zhong Xi, mocking his dedication to justice. They engage in a fierce battle, with Jiu Su acknowledging Zhong Xi’s exceptional skill as a Luanfeng Peak cultivator.
However, Jiu Su then cunningly injects Zhong Xi with a dark poison that clashes with righteous spiritual energy, warning that any attempt to circulate his spiritual energy will destroy his spiritual core and hasten his death. Witnessing Zhong Xi’s plight, Kong Hou is suddenly able to wield a spiritual tool, realizing her spiritual power has surged again through renewed contact with Zhong Xi. She fiercely retaliates against Jiu Su.
The dark cultivator observes Kong Hou drawing on her "heart’s blood to boost spiritual energy," an act of immense self-sacrifice. Undeterred, Kong Hou proclaims that if it means killing him, she is willing to sacrifice her life.
