> Dear Diary Recap

Following the chaotic events at the police station where Murong Jielun and Ninth Heaven Dragon Lady were detained, Mei Ru continued to grapple with the bizarre occurrences, suspecting a prank. This suspicion rooted in a childhood memory where she often found solace in writing her diary under a tree. One day, a shoe fell from the tree, and Jiang Hui Zhen, a new transfer student, unexpectedly jumped down.

They quickly became close friends, their bond strengthening as they shared and discussed the imaginative contents of Mei Ru’s diary. The diary detailed Mei Ru's future self at twenty-four, "deeply in love" with her prince, Murong Jielun, with whom she would "go to Wushan." It also introduced Ninth Heaven Dragon Lady as her beautiful but jealous rival, who possessed the power to control wind and rain and tormented Mei Ru.

Mei Ru's Second Aunt, a teacher, had discovered and publicly reprimanded her for these "erotic" writings at only twelve years old, despite Jiang Hui Zhen's attempt to claim responsibility. Nevertheless, some classmates found Mei Ru’s story magical, captivated by the idea that her prince loved only her. Back in the present, Mei Ru called Jiang Hui Zhen, convinced that Duan Shuiliu was orchestrating the recent strange events as retaliation.

Mei Ru believed this was because she had previously shut down several accounts from his "adult industry" company. Jiang Hui Zhen, however, found it hard to believe Duan Shuiliu capable of such an elaborate prank, especially since she suspected he would be too busy to plot such a thing.

Mei Ru further explained that Murong Jielun, whom she thought Duan Shuiliu had sent, was "pretending to be stupid" and had even gotten carsick, ruining what she perceived as a "perfect show." As Mei Ru spoke, distracted and slightly intoxicated, she narrowly avoided being hit by a bus thanks to Murong Jielun's swift intervention.

This close call, coupled with Murong Jielun’s subsequent mention of their fated journey to Wushan from her diary, triggered a sudden teleportation that instantly transported them to the peak of Wushan. Terrified, Mei Ru desperately sought to leave the mountain and warned Murong Jielun to keep his distance. Meanwhile, Duan Shuiliu, who had been obsessed with the name Ninth Heaven Dragon Lady since he was twelve, was astonished to encounter the actual Ninth Heaven Dragon Lady.

Noticing her injured, bare feet, he immediately offered her a pair of influencer's shoes. Ninth Heaven Dragon Lady, narcissistic and arrogant as described in Mei Ru’s diary, confirmed her power to control wind and rain. She scolded Duan Shuiliu for delaying her and making her miss Murong Jielun, also mentioning Mei Ru had run away. Duan Shuiliu recognized the names and played along, offering comfort and help.

He later tried to entice her to eat some fruit, telling her Chen Mei Ru had eaten it, in an effort to get her to consume something more substantial than what she typically foraged. Later, Ouyang Wen Shan arrived at Jiang Hui Zhen's theater troupe, charming her colleagues with lavish gifts and announcing he would cover all the troupe's expenses.

He flirted with Jiang Hui Zhen, noting a familiar mark on her neck, which visibly flustered her, though she maintained a composed facade. Her colleagues enthusiastically encouraged her to accept Ouyang Wen Shan's affections, highlighting his wealth and qualities. Ouyang Wen Shan reiterated his promise to fulfill all of Jiang Hui Zhen's dreams, pledging financial support for new equipment, props, and international tours for the troupe.

Jiang Hui Zhen, trying to assert her independence, spoke pointedly to a cat, implying that accepting undeserved generosity would lead to trouble and that his "pretentious" displays were off-putting. Undeterred, Ouyang Wen Shan placed a large sum of cash in the cat's bowl, stating that money was only significant when it brought her happiness and that he was serious about caring for her and her surroundings. Softened by his sincerity, Jiang Hui Zhen agreed to see him off.

While on Wushan, Mei Ru was startled to discover Murong Jielun had no shadow, leading her to believe he was not human. Murong Jielun attempted to explain it with natural phenomena like standing in shadows or the sun's movement, but Mei Ru remained convinced he was supernatural. He then read passages from her old diary, including the line about them being "deeply in love" and "going to Wushan." Panicked, Mei Ru screamed for help and fled.

Meanwhile, in Ouyang Wen Shan's car, Jiang Hui Zhen clutched a cat carrier, still tense despite Ouyang Wen Shan's assurances that they were almost there and that she shouldn't think about jumping out. Upon reaching their destination, Jiang Hui Zhen entered a luxurious house filled with women's accessories, cosmetics, and gifts, all prepared specifically for her. Ouyang Wen Shan even carefully preserved the wine bottle from their first meeting.

Still fleeing Murong Jielun, Mei Ru encountered a park ranger, whom she terrified with her tales of a "ghost," causing both to run. She then called Jiang Hui Zhen, explaining her predicament and lamenting that it would take at least two hours for Jiang Hui Zhen to reach her by conventional means. Overhearing this, Ouyang Wen Shan immediately arranged a private helicopter to transport Jiang Hui Zhen to Wushan.

Mei Ru was relieved to see Jiang Hui Zhen arrive by helicopter. As they embraced, Mei Ru urged her friend to quickly escape Murong Jielun. Surprisingly, Ouyang Wen Shan descended from the helicopter and greeted Murong Jielun, revealing they knew each other. Mei Ru then realized that Ouyang Wen Shan was the "bosom friend" and "chief guard" she had written for Murong Jielun in her diary.

Both Mei Ru and Jiang Hui Zhen were struck by the horrifying realization that the diary characters had come to life; this was not a prank but a supernatural phenomenon. Convinced they were in danger and that no one would believe them, they decided they must fight back. They conspired to push Murong Jielun from the helicopter. Mei Ru, attempting to open the door, accidentally fell out herself, taking Murong Jielun with her.

As the helicopter departed, Ninth Heaven Dragon Lady appeared, using her powers to create strong winds, intending to bring down the helicopter. Duan Shuiliu, who had been following her, pleaded with her to stop, concerned for Murong Jielun's safety. Realizing her powers were truly real, he ceased his efforts. Duan Shuiliu then rushed back to retrieve Mei Ru's old diary, which he had hidden instead of burning years ago.

He found a passage describing Ninth Heaven Dragon Lady's tragic fate: "Sorrowful Ninth Heaven Dragon Lady loses her love at last and lives a lonely life." Duan Shuiliu resolved to change her destiny, attempting to write "Ninth Heaven Dragon Lady falls in love with Duan Shuiliu." However, to his horror, any words he wrote on the mystical diary immediately vanished.
