You Zhiqi, disheartened after his video was exposed, returned to Starry Arts Academy. He spotted Wei Feng and Cheng Ming leaving the warehouse and, fueled by suspicion, decided to follow them. Cheng Ming questioned Wei Feng's intense interest in the matter. Wei Feng explained that he, too, was in the video and had received unwanted attention due to You Zhiqi's fame, prompting him to uncover the truth.

He then pressed Cheng Ming about her relationship with You Zhiqi, which she vehemently denied. You Zhiqi then confronted them directly, accusing them of conspiring to harm him and capitalizing on his private life for online fame. Cheng Ming tried to explain that she had kept their secret about his condition and that she and Wei Feng were actively investigating the video's origin. You Zhiqi, however, was skeptical, interpreting her defense as a sign of complicity.

He accused them of orchestrating the exposure, even suggesting that the two composition students who locked the warehouse door were their accomplices. Wei Feng attempted to intervene, urging You Zhiqi to calm down and trying to lead Cheng Ming away, asserting Cheng Ming's innocence. However, You Zhiqi physically prevented Cheng Ming from leaving, demanding to check her phone, convinced the uploaded video would be on it.

Cheng Ming retorted that she was in the video herself, making it impossible for her to have filmed it, and called his demands childish. You Zhiqi, undeterred, insisted on checking, and Cheng Ming, though agreeing, warned him of the embarrassment he would face. Their heated exchange culminated with Cheng Ming labeling him childish and a weirdo. Just then, Professor Li Shuangbai called You Zhiqi to her office.

He brought Cheng Ming and Wei Feng with him, immediately accusing them to the professor of spreading the video for fame. Professor Li, however, dismissed his "random conjectures" and revealed she had already investigated. She showed surveillance footage from the warehouse entrance from the previous day, which clearly depicted Ding Dongdong and Qu Shiyun filming You Zhiqi inside. The footage also confirmed that two other students from the music composition department had tied the warehouse door.

Realizing his error, You Zhiqi was embarrassed. Professor Li advised him to remain calm and avoid making reckless accusations, urging him to communicate with the school administration for proper resolution, reminding him that despite his celebrity status, he was still her student. She informed them that the two composition students had already faced disciplinary action.

She then assigned You Zhiqi and Wei Feng the task of clarifying the situation with Ding Dongdong and Qu Shiyun, as both claimed they had not uploaded the video. You Zhiqi confronted Ding Dongdong and Qu Shiyun, but they both denied uploading the video, blaming each other. Wei Feng, observing their argument, questioned Ding Dongdong about his computer having a virus, noting that the video's IP address was off-campus. Ding Dongdong then revealed that Zhang Yiyong had used his computer.

When pressed, Zhang Yiyong admitted that while looking at photos on Ding Dongdong's computer, he accidentally clicked on a pop-up advertisement, which likely caused the video to be uploaded. Initially, no one confessed, prompting You Zhiqi to threaten calling the police. Zhang Yiyong, in a panic, knelt and begged You Zhiqi for forgiveness, reminding him of a past favor.

You Zhiqi, though initially sarcastic about their "teamwork," eventually agreed to forgive them, acknowledging that his company would likely handle the fallout. Wei Feng advised everyone to be more careful, emphasizing that as You Zhiqi's friends, they should protect him since he is a public figure. Ding Dongdong and Zhang Yiyong promised to protect You Zhiqi, and Qu Shiyun offered to clarify the rumor online. Cheng Ming remained distant, refusing to intercede on their behalf when asked by Qu Shiyun.

At the farewell party, You Zhiqi delivered a dazzling dance performance, earning enthusiastic cheers. At the end of his routine, he threw his shirt towards Cheng Ming. Still upset by his earlier accusations, Cheng Ming picked up the shirt, threw it to the ground, and walked away. You Zhiqi, noticing her anger, followed her. Cheng Ming confronted You Zhiqi, expressing her deep disappointment.

She reminded him that despite their agreement, she never divulged his secret, and she and Wei Feng were actively trying to find the truth about the video. She lamented that even after learning the truth, he never expressed any remorse or apology. Cheng Ming asserted that their lives, one as a top idol and the other as an ordinary person, were like parallel lines that would never intersect.

She criticized his inability to trust others and his failure to value the trust placed in him. After delivering her heartfelt words, Cheng Ming walked away, leaving You Zhiqi standing alone, deeply hurt and unable to sleep that night as her words echoed in his mind. The next day, in Professor Li Shuangbai's acting class, a visibly sleep-deprived You Zhiqi wore large sunglasses.

Professor Li called him out, reminding him that acting class is about keen observation and asked him to remove them. She emphasized the importance of observing people in everyday life to build characters. For a spontaneous exercise, she instructed students to pair up and portray two people who bump into each other on the street, making sure their partner could identify their character. Qu Shiyun and Amy, who usually bicker, were paired.

In their improvisation, Qu Shiyun played a police officer apprehending Amy, who was portraying a spy. Professor Li praised Qu Shiyun's reactions. After their performance, they discovered the key to the prop handcuffs was missing. The prop manager wasn't available, so they were forced to remain handcuffed together. Initially, both were exasperated, with Amy calling Qu Shiyun "crazy" and Qu Shiyun expressing distaste for being cuffed with Amy.

Professor Li saw this as an opportunity for them to understand each other, highlighting their contrasting personalities. Throughout the day, their forced proximity led to several comedic arguments, but ultimately began to soften their contentious relationship as they were seen bickering and then consoling each other. When You Zhiqi and Cheng Ming were paired, Cheng Ming blushed and appeared uncomfortable. Professor Li challenged them to portray long-lost lovers reuniting.

While You Zhiqi smoothly embraced the role, Cheng Ming struggled with the intimacy, pushing You Zhiqi away at one point and scattering the bouquet of flowers he held. Professor Li criticized Cheng Ming for not "letting go" and for being too self-conscious to fully inhabit her character. As a consequence, she assigned Cheng Ming the task of selling fifty roses on the street, while the other students were sent out to observe various professionals in the city.

On the street, Cheng Ming had difficulty selling the roses. You Zhiqi approached her and offered to buy all the remaining flowers. Cheng Ming, annoyed, told him to stop bothering her and to act like a celebrity. You Zhiqi then expressed his "uncontrollable kindness" and moved closer to her, sincerely apologizing for his earlier behavior. At this intimate moment, a paparazzi captured photos of them. You Zhiqi spotted the photographer and immediately exclaimed "Paparazzi!" before he and Cheng Ming sprinted off to chase after him to prevent the photos from being leaked, with Cheng Ming bumping into him and scattering her remaining flowers.
