Frightened, she sought refuge in a divination tent, quickly disguising herself as the resident oracle in the tent owner's clothes. By chance, Gu Yanxi also arrived at the tent, seeking guidance. Behind a curtain, Su Xiaowan sensed a familiar quality in his voice but dismissed the notion that it could be him.
Gu Yanxi stated he was searching for his lost wife, and Su Xiaowan, playing her part, instructed him to use sheep bone divination. As he drew a bone, she felt a distinct familiarity in his touch.
