Jin Yao then blindfolded him with a silk scarf, leading him out of bed to touch a cactus. Xie Fei, feeling the thorns, humorously remarked that she had grown a beard. Jin Yao then removed the blindfold, declaring herself his "cactus girl." Later, Gu Chenyu chatted with Xiaoning's mother, who affectionately praised him for his sensible nature and expressed her growing fondness for him.

Later, Gu Chenyu and Xiaoning encountered Yanran on the street. Yanran requested a private conversation with Xiaoning, offering a sincere apology for her past "ridiculous" actions, which Xiaoning graciously accepted.
Though Yanran was hesitant to attend the celebration banquet for "Wang Chuan," Xiaoning insisted, reminding her of her role as the female lead, and led her inside. Jin Yao, however, was keen on exploring the Cactus Kingdom in Mexico. When Xie Fei questioned how the two of them could vote on the decision, Jin Yao revealed she was pregnant, playfully implying an additional "vote" for their destination. Gu Chenyu and his father, Gu Yueting, played a game of Go. Gu Yueting expressed regret for his past harshness and the resulting conflicts between them, hoping Gu Chenyu would never regret his life choices.
