Li Jingyang woke up and discovered a withdrawn message from Cheng Yu on his phone. He immediately tried to call her, but she did not answer. Concerned, he went to her company. Her secretary, Xiao Shuang, informed him that Cheng Yu was out for dinner with Shen Menglin from Meida Group. Xiao Shuang revealed that Shen Menglin was Cheng Yu's ex-boyfriend, who was attempting to rekindle their relationship through a business collaboration, a situation that made Cheng Yu uncomfortable.

Li Jingyang obtained the restaurant address and hurried over. Meanwhile, at Cheng Mu’s dessert shop, staff discussed the fierce competition from "Sweet" and the recent leak of their new "Childhood" product recipe. Bai Bin, Cheng Mu’s employee, admitted to curiously looking at the recipe notebook and even making the dessert for his girlfriend, Weiwei, who critiqued it as "just so-so."

Li Jingyang arrived at the restaurant to find Shen Menglin, appearing intoxicated, aggressively pushing for a romantic relationship with Cheng Yu under the guise of discussing a five-year contract. Shen Menglin insisted he would treat Cheng Yu and her brother well. When Shen Menglin insulted Li Jingyang by calling him an "internet celebrity," Li Jingyang punched him. Cheng Yu then firmly declared an end to their business cooperation, stating she would manage her own brother's affairs.

Back at Cheng Yu's home, Li Jingyang apologized for hitting Shen Menglin, acknowledging him as a business partner despite his aggressive behavior. Cheng Yu dismissed his apology, called him "silly," and kissed him, admitting she had missed him. Their intimate moment was interrupted when Cheng Mu, who had been asleep on the sofa, stirred awake. Li Jingyang immediately offered to leave, and Cheng Yu told Cheng Mu to stay, leading to Li Jingyang’s hasty departure.

Cheng Mu then questioned Cheng Yu about his unannounced overnight visit. A flustered Cheng Mu confessed that he had consumed too much alcohol the previous night and kissed Jiang Sihan, now feeling awkward and unsure how to face her. Cheng Yu viewed this as positive news, advising him that a relationship should begin with a formal confession and flowers, stressing that an ambiguous start could lead to an unclear ending.

She probed if he was merely teasing Jiang Sihan, which he denied. Cheng Mu then tried to question Cheng Yu about her relationship with Li Jingyang, who dismissed him. Still at Cheng Yu's apartment, Cheng Mu later had a conversation with Li Jingyang, sternly warning him against hurting Cheng Yu and stressing her history of hard work. In return, Li Jingyang encouraged Cheng Mu to address his "panic disorder" regarding Jiang Sihan, whom he affectionately referred to as "Taro."

Back at his own home, Cheng Mu found Jiang Sihan working on her computer. The air between them was thick with unspoken tension from the previous night, leaving both flustered and unable to initiate conversation. Cheng Mu secretly consulted an online "Sweet Grandmaster" for advice. Simultaneously, Jiang Sihan, also seeking guidance, posed a hypothetical question to the "Grandmaster" online: "If a boy is drunk and kisses a girl, but there's no follow-up, what does it mean?"

Unbeknownst to her, Cheng Mu was the "Sweet Grandmaster." He replied that the boy "must like the girl." Jiang Sihan, still unaware, argued that this couldn't be true, as the boy's actions didn't suggest affection. She elaborated that if a boy liked a girl, he wouldn't always appear cold and would at least smile at her. Cheng Mu, reading her response, began to reflect on his own lack of expressive behavior towards her.

In other developments, Cheng Yu's agency analyzed the performance of Jiang Sihan's blog, "Taro Knows How to Eat," noting its good interaction but slowing growth. They also discussed Li Jingyang's current projects, including filming for a clothing brand with Tao Manman. His agent mentioned rejecting a movie offer due to low pay, but Cheng Yu requested to review the project plan and the producer’s contact information.

Li Jingyang himself was later heard making plans for a cleared day, mentioning a female friend’s birthday, leading to questions about his romantic life. Prompted by Jiang Sihan’s online commentary, Cheng Mu began practicing smiles in front of the mirror, resulting in an unsettlingly forced expression. The following morning, he attempted to maintain an awkward, continuous smile directed at Jiang Sihan. Rui Rui even commented that Cheng Mu's smile looked fake and "like a dummy."

Later, Jiang Sihan accidentally spotted Cheng Mu's phone, which revealed his "Sweet Grandmaster" account and her own blog interaction, "Taro Knows How to Eat." A message on the screen confirmed her dawning realization: Cheng Mu was the "Sweet Grandmaster," and he liked her.

Realizing the depth of Cheng Mu's feelings and recalling her own uninhibited behavior while staying at his house—including messy hair, applying face masks, and loudly eating fried dough sticks and soy milk—Jiang Sihan felt mortified and determined to present a more refined image. She immediately began cooking Cheng Mu's favorite rib soup.

Later, she insisted on doing the dishes, much to Rui Rui's astonishment, who recalled her usual aversion to the chore and her habit of leaving them for his "Godfather," Cheng Mu. Jiang Sihan laughed awkwardly at Rui Rui's observation. She then tried to take over the laundry, asserting her desire to help with household chores, but Cheng Mu attempted to prevent her, claiming she was not accustomed to his washing machine.

As they playfully struggled over the clothes, they both lost their footing and fell to the floor together, prompting Rui Rui to question their antics. Back at his dessert shop, Cheng Mu's staff discussed their new lemon-flavored dessert, playfully calling it the "sour taste of love," and expressed hope that "Sol" would win against "Sweet."

Later, Bai Bin approached Cheng Mu, confessing he wanted to resign due to his culpability in the "Childhood" new product leak, which impacted the shop's business. Cheng Mu confirmed that Bai Bin's ex-girlfriend, Weiwei, was indeed the one who sold the recipe to "Sweet" for money, leading to their breakup.

Cheng Mu reassured Bai Bin, reminding him of their partnership in building "Sol" and their differing business philosophy from "Sweet," emphasizing that they would always create better desserts as long as they persevered. He rejected Bai Bin's resignation and assigned him a crucial new task: spearheading the launch of their latest creation, "Sweet and Sour," a dessert characterized by a distinct lemon sourness with a subtle underlying sweetness.

Cheng Mu also instructed Bai Bin to provide more procurement tasks and financial support to Yihang, who appeared to be struggling financially. He then told Bai Bin that he must personally apologize to Jiang Sihan regarding the leaked recipe, clarifying that she was not involved.

Separately, Cheng Mu later spoke with Jiang Sihan directly about the recipe leak, reiterating that Bai Bin was responsible for accidentally sharing the recipe with his girlfriend, who then sold it, and that Jiang Sihan was completely uninvolved. He also playfully reminded her to always act like a lady.
