Revenged Love Episode 24 (Ending) Recap
> Revenged Love Recap
Chi Cheng’s parents were sitting in the car when his mother suddenly mentioned that Wu Suowei had sold the house left by his parents in order to help Chi Cheng smooth things over. She felt he was reliable, but Chi Cheng’s father thought that Wu Suowei was just relying on Chi Cheng — once Chi Cheng was released, he could buy as many houses as he wanted.
His mother disagreed and instead took her husband to see Wu Suowei working at his street stall. Chi Cheng’s father stubbornly refused to get out of the car, but his mother quickly got out with a big smile to greet Wu Suowei. Seeing her, Wu Suowei made a delicate little sugar rabbit just for her, which made her even happier since she was born in the year of the rabbit.
Back in the car, Chi Cheng’s mother scolded her husband for refusing to help earlier, saying it was too late to oppose now. She also felt that Wu Suowei was a good person. Chi Cheng’s father pretended not to care about the sugar figurine, but he snatched it up, took a bite, and praised how sweet it was, making his wife laugh.
In truth, deep down, he had already begun to quietly accept this young man who had made so many sacrifices for his son. Meanwhile, Guo Chengyu went to see Chi Cheng with a lawyer and also brought out the note Chi Cheng had written to Wu Suowei. When Wu Suowei saw the note, an inexplicable sadness welled up in his heart, and memories of his moments with Chi Cheng kept flashing in his mind.
That night, he sat alone under the dim light, staring at the note with complicated emotions in his eyes. Just then, Jiang Xiaoshuai came over and told him that the next day would be Chi Cheng’s court date. Wu Suowei said he would use his stall as an excuse not to go, but everyone knew it was because he didn’t want Chi Cheng to feel more sorrow upon seeing him in court.
The next day, Chi Cheng’s parents and several friends arrived at court early. Luckily, Chi Cheng was released safely. But when he looked around, he didn’t see Wu Suowei. After asking around, he learned Wu Suowei was at his stall, so he immediately asked his father for the car keys and rushed off to find him. At that moment, Wu Suowei was still focused on running his stall.
Suddenly, Jiang Xiaoshuai and Guo Chengyu appeared with water guns, spraying him out of nowhere. Caught off guard, Wu Suowei dodged around helplessly. Then Wang Shuo and Wang Zhen joined in, the four surrounding Wu Suowei and drenching him with their water guns. Soaked and disheveled, Wu Suowei nevertheless laughed happily. Just as the fun reached its peak, Chi Cheng arrived. He brought over a water truck, opened the valve, and a torrent of water sprayed down like heavy rain.
It turned into an artificial downpour, and everyone played and laughed wildly, their joy echoing through the air. Afterward, Wu Suowei deliberately complained to Chi Cheng about being bullied by the four, but his smiling face betrayed the joy in his heart. Overcome with emotion, Chi Cheng hugged Wu Suowei tightly, knowing full well the sacrifices he had made to save him. That night, the two lay in bed together, with Wu Suowei in Chi Cheng’s warm embrace.
Exhausted from the heavy stress and constant toil of the past days, Wu Suowei quickly fell into a deep sleep that lasted an entire day and night. Chi Cheng stayed by his side the whole time, refusing to leave even for a moment. Because Chi Cheng stayed by him without even eating, Guo Chengyu worried about his health and brought meals to the bedroom. After a full day and night of rest, Wu Suowei finally woke up.
Guo Chengyu had even rented a shop for him, helping him open a larger clinic to fulfill his dream. Not only that, Guo Chengyu personally designed the layout of the clinic. His silent dedication moved Wu Suowei deeply, bringing tears to his eyes. Just as the two were about to share a heartfelt kiss, construction workers suddenly barged in, breaking the tender moment. Later, Chi Cheng brought Wu Suowei back home.
His parents fully accepted him now and no longer made things difficult. Dou Dou also liked Wu Suowei very much, so he and Chi Cheng played with the child together. At night, Wu Suowei even brought Dou Dou into the bedroom, placing him between them. Wu Suowei doted on the child with great enthusiasm, but Chi Cheng felt the child had become a “barrier” between them, and jealousy crept into his heart.
The next day, Chi Cheng took the child to his sister, left him there, and then went off with Wu Suowei. Acting mysteriously, he covered Wu Suowei’s eyes, filling him with anticipation. It turned out Chi Cheng had bought back Wu Suowei’s old family home and brought him there. When Wu Suowei saw that everything inside remained unchanged, a gratified smile spread across his face.
In fact, the loquat tree in the yard had been sold long ago, but Chi Cheng had searched far and wide to buy it back. From then on, the two of them lived happily together.
