The Seven Relics of ill Omen Episode 25 Recap
> The Seven Relics of ill Omen Recap
Mu Dai, having learned that her master was seriously ill, took Cao Yanhua to the train station. Since live poultry wasn’t allowed on board, Cao Yanhua threw the chicken to Thirteen-Thousand. Luo Ren had to make a trip to Heisha and could only part ways with Mu Dai for the time being. Upon learning how dangerous the trip to Heisha would be, Mu Dai’s eyes immediately reddened. She urged Luo Ren to be extremely cautious and take care of himself.
Luo Ren wiped away her tears, lovingly agreeing to all her instructions, and watched as she and Cao Yanhua entered the train station. Cao Yanhua said he was very glad Mu Dai brought him back to her sect. Given his background, he no longer dared to hope he could be formally accepted as a disciple. Mu Dai comforted him, saying that background didn’t matter anymore, and what happened with his ancestors had nothing to do with him.
The reason they had kept it from him was to prevent him from overthinking. With the misunderstanding cleared up, Cao Yanhua returned to his usual self. Mu Dai said her master chose disciples based on fate. Back then, because of her friend Wenwen, she went to a temple to listen to Buddhist chants. There, she happened to meet Master Meihua Jiuniang, who was traveling in Lixi.
Seeing that Mu Dai wanted to learn martial arts, Meihua Jiuniang approached her, and after learning about Mu Dai’s experiences, she accepted her on the spot as her last disciple. Luo Ren received a call from Qingmu—the Leopard had crossed the border. Qingmu said he would help Luo Ren take care of Uncle Zheng and Pingting. Luo Ren had once injured one of the Leopard’s eyes, and Qingmu warned that the Leopard would never let him go.
He also urged Luo Ren to protect Mu Dai at all costs. Qingmu didn’t want Mu Dai to become a bargaining chip for the Leopard. Luo Ren called Mu Dai and asked her to get off the train early so he could personally drive her back to the sect. Yan Hongsha and Thirteen-Thousand returned to Lixi. Luo Ren confided in Mu Dai about his experience in Heisha. Back then, he had fallen out with his family and wandered to Heisha.
He was unfamiliar with the place, did the most grueling jobs, and was constantly mistreated by his boss until his body gave out and he fell ill. Out of pride, he never returned home. Later, someone introduced him to underground fighting. Because he refused to fight to the death, he offended the organizers. During one match, they drugged him.
As he was on the verge of being beaten to death in the ring, Qingmu and Eurys, who happened to be recruiting security guards at the fight, saw him and rescued him. They invited him to join their security firm. Once Luo Ren settled in, he lived happily, often going to their jungle base for combat training, and he made many close friends. During a meal break on the road, a child was selling roses.
Luo Ren gave the child money but didn’t take a flower, leaving Mu Dai feeling a little disappointed. As they continued on, Luo Ren explained why he hadn’t taken the rose. Near the base where he used to live was a bar called “Tipsy.” They often went there for drinks. One time, a beautiful woman approached him at the bar. Because she was dressed formally, she had swapped clothes with a dancer named Nina.
The woman bought Luo Ren a drink, and in return, he gave her a red rose. Later, to help redeem that woman’s jewelry, Luo Ren went to find Nina—only to discover she was dead. The one who killed Nina was the Leopard. As the heir of Heisha’s criminal underworld, the Leopard never needed to make trades—she simply took what she wanted. Luo Ren had blamed himself ever since, especially for leaving Nina’s daughter alone in the world.
That night, sitting outside the car, Luo Ren told Mu Dai that the Leopard had great ambitions. She had wanted to buy out their hotel, but after being refused, she held a grudge and sent thugs to attack it. Amid the chaos, Luo Ren rescued a little girl named Tasha, who called him “Dad.”
The hotel was destroyed, and when Luo Ren and his team refused to work for the Leopard, she used Tasha as leverage and forced Luo Ren into a match. After he won, Luo Ren got close to the Leopard and tried to kidnap her in exchange for Tasha’s release—only to realize too late that he had taken a decoy. The Leopard later let Luo Ren go and sent him a bloodstained hairclip of Tasha’s. Luo Ren vowed to seek revenge.
Qingmu, Eurys, and the others volunteered to go with him. But when they arrived, they were ambushed. Luo Ren was gravely injured and watched helplessly as his companions died one after another. At this point in the story, Luo Ren was sobbing uncontrollably, trembling all over. Mu Dai hugged him, heartbroken. After arriving at Yunling, Cao Yanhua reunited with Luo Ren and the others.
In order to earn a place in the sect, he had spent the journey doing acts of chivalry and even caught two thieves. He named the chicken “Cao Fangfang.” Luo Ren thought it was a good name.
