Xiao Yao grows increasingly frustrated with the constant bickering between the three ancient demons: Ao Hen, Qiong Qi, and Teng She. When they argue over who is best suited to teach her how to restore her spiritual power, she shuts them down, telling them that if they have so much excess energy, they should use it to help rebuild Demons’ Valley instead. Chastened, the three surprisingly agree and set off to repair the valley's barriers.

As they work, the trio inadvertently begins to charm the local inhabitants. A demon named Bamboo becomes infatuated with Ao Hen, admiring his refined and "classical" beauty. Meanwhile, Qiong Qi’s display of strength attracts Wu Huan and other young demons who are eager to learn how to protect their home. Qiong Qi subjects them to a grueling physical regimen, teaching them the harsh philosophy that power is the only truth.

Nearby, Teng She interacts with a pig demon named Luoluo, who offers him human treats like sugarcane. Teng She challenges Luoluo to a game of "Ju"—a form of cuju—forbidding the use of magic. To Teng She's shock, the clumsy-looking Luoluo wins the game. When granted a wish for his victory, Luoluo simply asks for a friend, a request that moves the ancient demon.

Despite the positive energy the newcomers bring to the valley, Xiao Mu and Xiao Ming remain suspicious, fearing their leader Hong Ye is being overshadowed. Hong Ye, however, remains composed until he discovers Xiao Yao is baking flower pastries for the three demons as a reward. Admitting his jealousy, Hong Ye confesses his fear that even with his great power, he might lose her to them. Reassured by her, he eventually accompanies her to deliver the treats.

The delivery quickly devolves into a confrontation. When Xiao Yao mentions that she and Hong Ye made the pastries together, the demons are outraged. Qiong Qi is particularly incensed, unable to comprehend how Xiao Yao can protect Hong Ye while forgetting their shared past. Teng She continues his flirtatious "brotherly" act, but Xiao Yao firmly tells him to stop calling her "sister."

To settle the matter, Hong Ye announces that he and Xiao Yao are to consummate their marriage that night. Xiao Yao supports him, explaining they have been married for a hundred years and that the pastries are actually their wedding cakes. Disgusted and feeling betrayed, the three demons spit out the food. Meanwhile, Lu Pianpian’s condition is worsening.

Deprived of human essence, she is visibly aging and finds herself embroiled in a petty power struggle between the Eastern and Western Palaces. A maid named Yanlan tries to manipulate her by presenting jewelry intended for the elderly, a subtle insult from a rival concubine. Lu Pianpian’s temper flares, but she is horrified to see the cruel reflection of the Immortal Lord Suimeng in her own behavior, fearing she is losing her true self.

Back in Demons’ Valley, the wedding ceremony proceeds with the local demons offering their blessings. In the bridal chamber, Hong Ye presents Xiao Yao with a fragment of the Kunlun Mirror known as "Love and Separation," declaring that his century-long obsession is finally fulfilled. While Xiao Mu and Xiao Ming stay busy chasing away eavesdroppers, the three ancient demons realize that Xiao Yao will never listen to their warnings as long as her memories are suppressed.

They decide to occupy Youning Cave and combine their powers to cast the Time-Reversal Array, intending to force her to witness Hong Ye’s true face and the betrayals of ten thousand years ago. The next morning, as Hong Ye prepares a simple bowl of noodles for Xiao Yao, their peaceful future is interrupted. Xiao Mu rushes in to report that the three demons have activated a massive spell in the cave. Xiao Yao and Hong Ye hurry to the scene, finding the trio mid-ritual, determined to force a final confrontation with the truth of the past.
