> Meeting You Loving You Recap
Su Zhinian arrived at the designated meeting point, where Chen Han appeared on a large screen. Chen Han taunted Su Zhinian, asking if he truly believed a few men could stop him. Su Zhinian responded that he was eager to see Chen Han’s capabilities. A group of thugs then appeared, attacking Su Zhinian, but he skillfully used his superpower to make them fight each other, remaining unharmed.
Watching from his car, Chen Han expressed satisfaction, noting he had "hit the jackpot" with Su Zhinian’s abilities. Su Zhinian questioned if Chen Han thought a few videos could threaten him. Chen Han dismissed it, proposing a partnership instead. He then threatened to expose all videos of Su Zhinian’s power to every platform, making him a global sensation as a "monster," and warned that Song Qingchun would share the same fate.
As Su Zhinian grew exhausted from using his powers, suffering profuse sweating and stumbling, Chen Han mocked his fatigue, suggesting he admit defeat, or he would involve Song Qingchun. Just as Su Zhinian faltered, Song Qingchun arrived, urging him to get into her car and rescued him. As she drove away, Chen Han’s thugs pursued them. Song Qingchun asked if Su Zhinian was hurt, to which he replied he was fine but pointed out they were being followed.
Following his instructions, Song Qingchun drove onto the freeway and then into a densely populated area in the east, effectively losing their pursuers. The two then hid in a mall. Back at the mall, Tao, the leader of the thugs, was informed that their search was unsuccessful. He instructed two of his men to keep an eye on Yan Yuan and Cheng Qing Cong, while the others continued the search.
Hidden in the mall, Song Qingchun, realizing the gravity of their situation, called Yan Yuan for help. She explained that Chen Han had discovered Su Zhinian’s abnormality and was actively hunting them, suspecting he could track them through their phones. Yan Yuan, who was also being followed, advised her to take Su Zhinian to a homestay he would book under a foreign friend's identity.
He instructed them to avoid all contact, including with him, and emphasized that Su Zhinian must not use his powers again. Yan Yuan promised to find them as soon as he could. Song Qingchun then gently urged a weakened Su Zhinian to hang on, repeating the address of the secluded homestay: No. 96 Huali Village, Shuishang Town of Xinjin County.
Meanwhile, Qin Yinan went to the TV station looking for Tang Nuan but was told she wasn't in and was busy preparing an exclusive interview with Chen Han. Concerned, Qin Yinan went to Tang Nuan’s home, warning her to distance herself from Chen Han. He confessed his own involvement in the Pearl Garden incident and how he, along with Mr. Li, fabricated documents for Shenghua Construction, all under Chen Han's manipulation.
Tang Nuan expressed worry for Qin Yinan, but he told her not to be concerned about him, only for her own safety, as Chen Han's dealings were illicit. Tang Nuan, however, defiantly told him she didn't care about him and wanted him to leave. Qin Yinan insisted she remember his warning and promised to return the next day.
Tang Nuan later attempted to investigate Chen Han on her own, but Chen Han was already prepared, and she found no immediately useful information about his current activities. However, she found an old Grey High School yearbook, noting Chen Han’s enrollment but lack of a graduation photo. She contacted "Xing Shen Zi Zai," a former classmate, who described Chen Han as intelligent but introverted and frugal despite attending a private school.
The classmate also mentioned Chen Han was accepted to Stony Brook University but never registered, providing childhood and high school photos. Tang Nuan later called Chen Han to confirm their interview details, and he agreed to meet her. Chen Han, receiving an update that his men had failed to locate Su Zhinian and Song Qingchun, though Yan Yuan and Cheng Qing Cong were being monitored, speculated that something was amiss.
He stated that finding one of them would lead to the other, then declared his intention to use Tang Nuan, who had "willingly delivered herself." He sternly warned his men not to disappoint him again. During the interview, Tang Nuan inquired about his family’s role in his success. Chen Han stated his parents were deceased and that his life's purpose was to fulfill his mother's dying wish.
He then revealed his father, Song Zhong Qian, died 14 years ago, murdered by his own brother, Song Meng Hua, who was Song Qingchun's father. Chen Han explicitly stated he returned for revenge. Surprised, Tang Nuan pointed out that Song Qingchun had no siblings. Chen Han then disclosed he was an illegitimate child.
A flashback showed his young self with his mother, who brought him to his father, Song Zhong Qian's, home, instructing him to be respectful to his "uncle," Song Meng Hua. Later, after Zhong Qian's death, Qin Yinan and others denied his mother entry to the funeral, claiming Zhong Qian had no children and was about to go on vacation with his wife. His mother desperately tried to assert Chen Han was Zhong Qian’s son but was forcefully removed.
She then told young Chen Han that Song Meng Hua killed his father and stole everything that should have been theirs. Back in the present, Tang Nuan offered to expose Song Meng Hua. Chen Han thanked her but then hinted that he knew she was recording him, stating that whether her program aired was up to him. He recounted his mother's teaching that the world only respects the powerful, and that power was the best way to change one’s destiny.
Tang Nuan, acknowledging his philosophy, directly confronted him, asserting that he was using her. Chen Han confirmed this, asking her to help him locate Song Qingchun, explaining his own men had failed. Tang Nuan, citing a recent argument with Song Qingchun, claimed her friend wouldn’t trust her. Chen Han then produced the Pearl Garden contract, threatening to expose Qin Yinan's involvement if Tang Nuan refused. Seeing the damning evidence, Tang Nuan reluctantly agreed to his demands.
At the homestay, Su Zhinian, still recovering, found comfort in holding Song Qingchun’s hand, which kept him calm. Waking up in her arms, he heard Song Qingchun play the recording from her father's doll, which clarified Chen Han’s true motives and Su Zhinian’s previous encounters with thugs that he couldn't remember. Su Zhinian suggested she should have called the police, but Song Qingchun believed the recording alone wasn't enough to convict Chen Han.
She expressed a surprising gratitude towards Chen Han, as his scheme had brought her together with Su Zhinian at the homestay, making it feel like a vacation. She wondered aloud why Yan Yuan hadn't arrived, but Su Zhinian reassured her he would, adding he hoped it wouldn't delay his surgery. Song Qingchun then playfully remarked about their past breakup, saying that he probably wouldn't want to see her if he remembered, implicitly acknowledging his memory loss.
They watched the movie "50 First Dates." Su Zhinian pointed out the heroine suffered from Goode Phil syndrome, a condition different from his own. Song Qingchun compared her own struggle with one instance of memory loss to the heroine’s fifty, feeling a sense of renewed strength and courage from her resilience. Suddenly, the power went out in their block. Su Zhinian led Song Qingchun to the rooftop, where he used a "universal remote" to activate a large outdoor television.
The close proximity to Song Qingchun triggered fragmented memories for Su Zhinian: Song Qingchun giving him a birthday cake, wishing him a safe return from abroad, and him wiping away her tears. Despite his memory loss, he felt an undeniable closeness to her. A sudden heavy rain forced them back inside. Later, Song Qingchun fell asleep on the sofa. Su Zhinian left her a note before going to rest in the bedroom.
When Song Qingchun woke up, she saw Tang Nuan's interview with Chen Han playing on TV. Chen Han publicly announced his plans to establish a technology research center that would reveal the existence of "supernatural abilities," similar to Spider-Man or Superman. He claimed to have witnessed these powers firsthand and promised to present a never-before-seen video as evidence at 7 PM that evening. Panicked, Song Qingchun rushed into the bedroom to wake Su Zhinian, but he was in a deep, unresponsive sleep due to his weakened state.
