Mu Ze, seeing an opportunity, deliberately poured water into Lu Yao's motorcycle engine, rendering it useless, so he could offer her a ride home. Mu Ze then arranged for a trailer, promising to safely transport both Lu Yao and her motorcycle back to school and handle all repairs. Lu Yao, visibly upset, explained that the motorcycle was a cherished birthday gift from her deceased father, which she had always protected meticulously without even a scratch.
Mu Ze realized the gravity of his actions, vowing to fix it quickly to prevent her father from getting angry, only for Lu Yao to reveal her father had passed away, leaving Mu Ze internally distraught over his thoughtless act. Meanwhile, Mu Ze, acting as a strategist, advised Gu Yanluo on planning a romantic love confession, emphasizing the importance of atmosphere.
