Synopsis
In the early 1990s, Hao Gang was a city of undercurrents. Judge Qin Yu had once teamed up with Senior Inspector Tang Xuan to convict gang leader Han Kuilong, but found himself in a dilemma after his beloved son injured Han's eldest son in a car accident. Desperate to protect his child, Qin Yu falsified evidence and framed a teenage car thief, plunging into an abyss of lies. Tang Xuan, however, remained committed to justice and doggedly pursued the truth. Behind this power struggle lay a web of collusion between officials and business figures, police corruption, and unresolved cases from the past.
