Just as Gu Ling was about to dismiss Tang Shuangli, Lu Zhiyi, who was in another meeting and had intervened remotely via video with Zhao Mengdi's help, burst into the meeting in person, forcefully stopping her. He declared himself the company owner and stated he would not tolerate false accusations against his employees.
He then made two major announcements: first, the company would develop a new app named Shi Qu, with Tang Shuangli leading its development; and second, Tang Shuangli was not only his assistant but also his girlfriend.
