Ye Feimo unexpectedly encountered Wen Xiaonuan in the elevator. Wen Xiaonuan initially believed he had come to apologize to her, firmly stating that they no longer owed each other anything and he should stop bothering her. However, a proud Ye Feimo simply informed her that he now lived on the 35th floor, directly above her, before closing the elevator door and leaving her stunned. Returning to Jiayi's apartment, Wen Xiaonuan found Gu Yunzhou already there.
Gu Yunzhou, trying to conceal his true identity, subtly hinted to Wen Xiaonuan to play along with his pretense of being a humble driver. During their hotpot dinner, Wen Xiaonuan repeatedly made veiled remarks, comparing him to "gongwan masquerading as meatballs" and a "wolf in sheep's clothing," implying his impure intentions. This made Gu Yunzhou visibly nervous as he tried to deflect her suspicions, insisting he merely wanted to be good friends with Jiayi.
As the meal progressed, the three grew more comfortable, with Jiayi recalling a memorable acting experience where she turned a tragic scene into a comedy due to her nervousness, while Wen Xiaonuan comically recounted her struggle playing Godzilla against Ultraman. Upstairs, Ye Feimo overheard the lively chatter and laughter from Wen Xiaonuan, Jiayi, and Gu Yunzhou, fueling his jealousy. He went downstairs, asserting that they were disturbing him.
Wen Xiaonuan, however, dismissed him, stating they were simply having a normal meal and conversation, and it was none of his business. She then promptly shut the door on him, telling him they were going to bed. Incensed by her dismissal and mistakenly believing she was drinking with another man late at night, Ye Feimo immediately summoned Gu Yunzhou to his apartment.
As Ye Feimo's new residence was directly above Jiayi's, Gu Yunzhou quickly fabricated an excuse to leave the hotpot dinner and went upstairs. Overwhelmed by jealousy, Ye Feimo, without hesitation, instructed Gu Yunzhou to gather as many people as possible to throw a party right then and there, aiming to "retaliate" against Wen Xiaonuan. Before going to bed, Wen Xiaonuan confessed to Jiayi that she had rejected an S-grade artist management contract offered by Anning, personally initiated by Ye Feimo.
Jiayi expressed regret, highlighting that it was a dream opportunity for many, but Wen Xiaonuan explained her reluctance, calling Ye Feimo a "demon lord" and fearing he would only torment her. Jiayi, however, observed that Ye Feimo seemed quite docile with Wen Xiaonuan. Meanwhile, Gu Yunzhou successfully assembled a crowd of "nightclub regulars" at Ye Feimo's apartment.
His initial attempt at leading the dance with unfamiliar music fell flat, but the party truly came alive when he switched to songs the guests recognized. As expected, Ye Feimo silently anticipated Wen Xiaonuan's reaction to the noise. Unable to sleep, Wen Xiaonuan and Jiayi stormed upstairs to investigate. Wen Xiaonuan marched in and immediately turned off the music. Seeing his objective achieved, Ye Feimo promptly dismissed the attendees.
In the chaos, Gu Yunzhou, who had tried to avoid Jiayi, was inevitably spotted. Gu Yunzhou initially feared that Jiayi would discover his wealthy background. To his surprise, a kind Jiayi, misinterpreting his involvement, believed he was helping Ye Feimo out of financial need. Instead of scolding him, she compassionately urged him to stop taking on such "detrimental" side jobs, which brought him unexpected relief.
Gu Yunzhou, relieved, quickly "confessed" that Ye Feimo was responsible for the party, portraying himself as a mere employee with no choice, further solidifying Jiayi's belief that "these rich people are quite unreasonable." Jiayi then surmised that Ye Feimo's actions were likely an attempt to gain Wen Xiaonuan's attention, though she worried it might backfire.
Wen Xiaonuan remained in Ye Feimo's apartment, attempting to discuss the disturbance, but Ye Feimo held the upper hand, defiantly stating he could party if she could eat hotpot late at night. The situation escalated when the property manager arrived due to tenant complaints. In a stroke of quick thinking, Wen Xiaonuan feigned being Ye Feimo's girlfriend, explaining that they were having a lovers' quarrel, which diffused the situation and earned them the property manager's understanding.
Ye Feimo seized upon Wen Xiaonuan's act of pretending to be his girlfriend, implying her affection, but still, his arrogant demeanor persisted, causing Wen Xiaonuan to leave in frustration. Later, Miss Cheng inquired about the un-signed S-grade artist management contract for Wen Xiaonuan. Zhou Xiaojing explained the situation, also revealing Ye Feimo's move to the unit above Wen Xiaonuan.
Miss Cheng was pleased, seeing it as a sign that her son might finally be moving on from Han Hui's shadow and developing feelings for someone new. Influenced by Wen Xiaonuan, Ye Feimo proposed an innovative approach for the "Blue Sky Galaxy" project: integrating it with traditional Huangmei opera. He argued that this blend of tradition and modernity, focusing on emotional resonance, would connect deeply with audiences and lead to greater commercial success, a concept Anning's senior executives readily embraced.
Meanwhile, Jiang Fang persisted in his efforts to court Han Hui. However, Han Hui, who had just returned as an international superstar, showed no interest in engaging with him. Even with Yaohua offering her the highest courtesies and resources, Han Hui remained unimpressed. Jiang Fang realized her true objective was Ye Feimo. In light of this, Jiang Fang conspired with Jiang Ling'er to devise a plan to create an opportunity to interfere with Han Hui and Ye Feimo's delicate relationship.
Just as Wen Xiaonuan hoped for a peaceful period, her brother, Xiaokai, was confronted by debt collectors at their home. Fortunately, Jiayi promptly informed Gu Yunzhou, who then relayed the urgent situation to Ye Feimo. Upon hearing the news, Ye Feimo quickly prepared to rush to Wen Xiaonuan's aid. However, Han Hui arrived at Anning, attempting to detain Ye Feimo to discuss the "Blue Sky Galaxy" project. Concerned for Wen Xiaonuan, Ye Feimo swiftly left Han Hui and departed for Wen Xiaonuan's home.
