Synopsis
The Enigmatic Monster Inn hidden within the bustling metropolis lies a mysterious inn for monsters, accessible only to those fate deems worthy.
Shangguan Fiye, a monster hunter, became trapped in this inn a millennium ago, cursed with immortality by the vengeful spirits of the monsters he had slain. To break the curse, he is forced to bring back the inn's former master, Dongfang Zhaobai, who has lost all memory of his past.
Meanwhile, guests connected to their history begin to arrive at the inn, each carrying unresolved regrets and lingering attachments. As they help these guests resolve their inner turmoil, Shangguan rediscoveres long-forgotten human emotions, while Dongfang gradually sheds his deep-seated prejudices against monsters.
In the end, they join forces to defeat the true culprit, the Monster King, restoring peace to the world. Through their shared ordeal, they not only unravel the millennium-old misunderstanding that drove them apart but also find their way back to love for each other.
