Synopsis
Orphaned since childhood, Qiao He was raised by her master. While her fellow apprentices showed little interest in jade carving, she dedicated herself to mastering the craft under her master's guidance, eventually becoming the highly respected "young proprietor" of Ruyi Studio. By chance, she crosses paths with Huo Tinglan, the chief appraiser of Golden Scale Pawnshop. Huo's reputation is suddenly tarnished when he is publicly exposed on a television show as the former disciple of Kang Jianhui—a notorious antiquities smuggler known as "The Porcelain Master" who was shot and killed years earlier. Viewers begin questioning whether Huo was involved in or had knowledge of his master's crimes.
Hidden crises soon emerge, shattering the centuries-old street’s long-standing peace. Kang Zhan, the daughter of Kang Jianhui who had been living abroad, returns to China filled with resentment. The public smear campaign is only the beginning—she is preparing to strike an even deadlier blow against Huo Tinglan. At the same time, a young apprentice from Ruyi Studio goes astray and tries to pass off inferior jade as high-grade, sparking a client complaint that threatens to destroy the reputation Qiao He has worked so hard to build.
