Xue Rui discovered a memory card in Wei Siyuan’s room containing a recording of his conversations with Lu Zhenzhen. While not direct proof of the bugging, it provided significant leverage. Meanwhile, Xu Miyu met with Mrs. Wei at a cafe and showed her a 100-day photo of Lu Zhenzhen’s son, explaining the complicated web of their relationships. She warned Mrs. Wei that Lu’s next target was Wei Siyuan.
Mrs. Wei’s anger shifted toward her husband after Miyu played a recording in which Wei Siyuan called his wife a "mother tiger" and spoke of his plan to take the money and flee to Australia with Lu and the baby after Purong was acquired. Realizing the depth of her husband’s betrayal, Mrs. Wei decided to join forces with Miyu to punish him. At the hotel, Xue Rui lured the assistant away, allowing Ji Feng to enter Wei Siyuan’s office.
Ji Feng played a recording of Wei Siyuan discussing the bugging incident with his wife and urged him to turn himself in. Wei Siyuan remained arrogant, dismissively claiming that private domestic conversations proved nothing and continuing to insist that Miyu was the culprit. However, his defiance crumbled when Ji Feng revealed that the anonymous email address linked to the bugging device had already been traced to Wei Siyuan’s own computer.
As the investigation team arrived with Wei Wanjun, Wei Siyuan knelt before his aunt, begging for mercy and blaming Ji Feng for forcing his hand. Deeply disappointed, Wei Wanjun refused to listen and ordered the team to call the police. Ji Feng was reinstated as the General Manager of Purong, determined to lead the hotel to new heights. The bidding for the Yuntian Group project was successfully completed, with Liberty Group winning the contract.
Ma Kesi thanked Ji Feng for his perseverance and for protecting their interests even at the risk of the hotel's reputation. Ji Feng, in turn, expressed his gratitude to Ma Kesi, noting that the long-term partnership agreement they signed during Purong’s most difficult period had given him the confidence to move forward. As the hotel buzzed with life again, even the young Mr. Duan praised the service and the food.
Tan Jizhou also stopped by to say a final goodbye to Miyu, leaving her a ticket to an art exhibition as a symbol of their shared past. As Lu Zhenzhen packed her belongings after being fired, she encountered Xu Miyu by the elevator. Lu accused Miyu of being a hypocrite who secretly took what she wanted while pretending to be a saint.
Miyu countered that the difference between them lay in their methods; Lu Zhenzhen chose unethical shortcuts that eventually required a heavy price. This confrontation triggered a painful memory for Lu from high school. On a rainy night years ago, her mother had turned her away from her new home because she didn't want her current husband to know she had a daughter.
Her mother had told her that if she wanted security, she had to climb high and grab everything for herself regardless of the cost. As the police arrived to arrest her for conspiring to install bugging equipment and stealing trade secrets, Lu finally realized how terribly wrong her mother’s advice had been. In the small town, life settled into a new, positive rhythm.
Xu Miyao found success as a local tour guide, frequently bringing customers to the family business, while Jiao Xiumei found her own confidence as a chef. Back at Purong, Xue Rui decided to resign and step out of his comfort zone to pursue a new career path. Ji Feng understood that his colleague needed to move on and offered his sincere blessings for the journey ahead.
Miyu soon shared her own good news with Ji Feng: she had been accepted into the EHL Hospitality Business School in Switzerland. She admitted that her past insecurities and self-esteem issues had made her view Ji Feng as condescending, but she now understood that she needed to become a stronger professional to match him. Ji Feng supported her decision completely, confessing that meeting her had given him a sense of home and convinced him to finally settle down.
They realized that true love is about helping each other become the best versions of themselves. Although Miyu would be away for her studies, they remained committed to one another, finding strength in their shared journey toward the future.
