Resumen del episodio 27 de The Epoch of Miyu
> Resúmenes de The Epoch of Miyu
Rumors are swirling at the Purong Hotel about a potential romance between CEO Ji Feng and the high-profile influencer Jiang Zhichun. Staff gossip describes them as a "power couple," a narrative that gains traction as the plum rain season continues to dampen the hotel’s occupancy. Amidst this, Xu Miyu remains focused on her work. When Lu Xiaoyan asks about discounts for the upcoming Gaokao (college entrance exam) week, Xu Miyu reveals she has already begun researching local test centers.
Xiaoyan’s cousin is set to take the exam at the newly added Xinhua Finance School. The two visit the site together, where Xu Miyu poses as an older sister to get past the security guard, confirming the walk from the hotel takes exactly eleven minutes. Back at the hotel, Xu Miyu presents a Gaokao service plan to Director Bai of the Front Office.
Bai is initially skeptical, arguing that budget hotels are more attractive to ordinary families and that a dozen potential bookings don't justify a full-scale campaign. However, during a management meeting where Ji Feng demands new strategies to address the seasonal slump, Bai suddenly brings up the Gaokao idea.
When Ji Feng asks for specific data about the test center and student demographics, Bai is unable to answer and is forced to call Xu Miyu into the meeting to explain her research. Xu Miyu delivers an impressive presentation, identifying nearly 900 potential clients at the nearby school. She proposes a fifty percent discount for students and a suite of customized services, including dedicated quiet floors, specialized nutrition plans, and adjusted breakfast hours.
She also suggests opening the gym and pool to students for free. While Director Huang objects to the low profit margins, Xu Miyu points out that their target demographic—middle-aged parents in Shanghai—overlaps perfectly with Jiang Zhichun’s fan base. She confidently predicts they can fill six floors, prompting Ji Feng to approve the project. The competition heats up when Duan Aoxiang of the rival Kuanli Hotel gets wind of Purong’s plans.
He manages to obtain a copy of Xu Miyu’s proposal and immediately contacts Jiang Zhichun’s team, offering a forty percent commission—the highest in the industry—to partner with Kuanli instead. Duan believes he can hijack the traffic Purong spent time researching. Ji Feng meets with Jiang Zhichun and learns of the situation.
To avoid a conflict with the influencer's team, Ji Feng reluctantly agrees to let Kuanli stream their promotion first, believing Purong can still benefit from the momentum once the market is warmed up. Xu Miyu is frustrated by this, fearing Ji Feng is prioritizing his personal history with Jiang Zhichun over the hotel's interests. Internal tensions also rise in the Sales department.
Lu Zhenzhen, despite being heavily pregnant, insists on managing the Gaokao livestream to ensure her department outshines the Front Office. However, her personal life is in turmoil. After missing her husband’s medical appointment due to work, she discovers that Nie Yucheng has been diagnosed with gastric cancer. Her mother-in-law is livid, accusing Zhenzhen of being a negligent wife who only provides takeout meals.
When Zhenzhen refuses to take time off for Nie Yucheng’s surgery because of the critical livestream, a heated argument breaks out. The stress causes Zhenzhen to suffer a hemorrhage, leading to an emergency delivery at the hospital. Following the birth, Lu Zhenzhen feels isolated and abandoned as Nie Yucheng’s family focuses entirely on the baby in the neonatal ICU. With the promotion's livestream scheduled for the following day and the Sales lead incapacitated, Ji Feng turns to Xu Miyu.
He argues that since she developed the project from the ground up, she is the best person to convey its value to the public. Though hesitant about her lack of sales experience, Xu Miyu agrees to take over the broadcast. She requests a temporary manager to cover her lobby duties so she can focus on the event, and she prepares to lead the campaign herself.
