Sinopsis
Two years later, Zhou Xiaofeng returns from his medical aid mission in Guizhou and reunites with Lin Yi and Fang Xiaoran. The three-person team once again works side by side, but faces new challenges.
Zhou Xiaofeng is dedicated, hardworking, and strictly adheres to medical principles. Through a combination of opportunity and merit, he is exceptionally promoted to become the youngest acting director of the cardiology department at Dongli Hospital. This promotion opens up new possibilities for him, but also brings greater trials. It even upends his original dynamic with Lin Yi and Fang Xiaoran.
Meanwhile, Lin Yi continues to face the tension between medical responsibility and personal conviction. Fang Xiaoran, while holding the team together emotionally, must also explore her own growth and balance. Even the internal and external equilibrium of the hospital is disrupted. At the same time, new forces enter Dongli Hospital, adding fresh variables to the story—including pharmaceutical representatives Ouyang Da and Sheng Nian.
Together, they must also confront medicine's eternal opponent: disease. One patient after another, along with their families, look to the medical team for help. Ideals and reality clash constantly. Helplessness and warmth often coexist. They can only grow through struggle, continuing to act with a clear conscience.
