However, when Tan Jizhou leaned in for a kiss, Miyu was suddenly haunted by the memory of her kiss with Ji Feng on the island.
Unable to reciprocate his feelings, she apologized and fled the bar. Upon returning to the Purong Hotel, Lu Xiaoyan informed Miyu that Ma Kesi had sent two invitations for a private horse racing event—one for her and one for Ji Feng. When Ji Feng arrived at the front office to collect his, he noticed Miyu's return and asked if it had rained in Hong Kong, concerned that she might catch a cold after her recent illness.
Miyu distantly replied that the weather had been fine. Meanwhile, Li Qiaoqi encountered Duan Aoxiang outside Kuanli. He was in a pathetic state, desperately chasing a business partner alongside his manager to save a contract. To cheer him up, Li Qiaoqi took him for a ride on her motorcycle.
