A groggy Wei Qing, annoyed by the early disturbance, was woken by Zhou Shi.
Upon learning how she had entered, he simply told her to explain the situation to the security guards herself. Zhou Shi then explained Wei Qing's condition based on her readings. She described allergies as the body's overactive defense mechanism and detailed the four levels of interpersonal distance, explaining the concept of a safe zone where only trusted individuals could enter without triggering his symptoms.
She proposed a "systematic desensitization" therapy, asking Wei Qing to list people or things he dislikes, from most to least, so they could work on eliminating his resistance to each. Wei Qing's list included "cats," "He Wei," "Zhang Shuai," and even "you," much to Zhou Shi's indignation.
