When it was her turn, she struggled to descend, and Su Ziguang helped her jump down, reassuring her he would catch her. After their activities, Su Ziguang teased Wen Xin, calling her his "excellent and cute girlfriend." Wen Xin, feigning indignation, denied being his girlfriend, but eventually reluctantly admitted it. Su Ziguang reminded her that their first kiss already made them a couple, a "contract" that couldn't be unilaterally broken.
He then inquired when they would officially announce their relationship, to which Wen Xin replied, "when it's stable," adding that it wasn't a pregnancy requiring a three-month waiting period. Wen Rou grew concerned about Han Qing's relationship with Zhong Yu. Wen Rou went for her prenatal checkup alone, falsely telling Shan Liang that Han Qing was with her.
While at the hospital, she secretly saw Zhong Yu comforting a crying woman named Guoguo, assuring her that a surgery would be successful. Later, Wen Rou cautiously told Han Qing about what she saw, framing it as a hypothetical situation involving a "good friend" whose ambiguous partner was seeing another woman. Han Qing initially misunderstood, thinking Wen Rou was referring to Shan Liang.
After Wen Rou clarified it was about Han Qing's situation, she recounted seeing Zhong Yu consoling the woman. Wen Rou expressed concern that Han Qing might be kept in the dark, comparing the situation to a past incident. Han Qing dismissed the concern, stating Zhong Yu had told her he was working. Wen Rou retorted that men with guilty consciences often use "work" as an excuse, advising Han Qing to ask for a photo.
Zhong Yu promptly sent a picture of himself at a hotel, doing makeup for a small artist. Skeptical, Wen Rou urged Han Qing to confront Zhong Yu directly. Despite Han Qing's hesitation about the potential awkwardness, Wen Rou insisted that confirming his character was crucial before their relationship progressed. Using details from Zhong Yu's photo, Wen Rou identified the specific hotel and room number, 1112.
Wen Rou and Han Qing arrived at the hotel, where they unexpectedly saw Su Ziguang swimming. Wen Xin, who was with him, quickly hid from them. Bursting into room 1112, Wen Rou and Han Qing found Zhong Yu indeed applying makeup to a model. Han Qing awkwardly asked if they were interrupting, to which Zhong Yu admitted, "kind of." Faced with this sudden challenge, Wen Rou and Han Qing spotted Zhong Yu on-site and urgently asked him to step in as a makeup artist. Zhong Yu was visibly reluctant, claiming he lacked the necessary skills and experience for show makeup and that his style was unsuitable. As Zhong Yu began applying makeup to a model, his unusual instructions to "stop moving," "be still," and "hold your breath" raised eyebrows, with Wen Rou and Han Qing noticing his strange behavior. Shan Liang arrived, surprised to see Zhong Yu in that role. Unable to continue, Zhong Yu finally admitted he couldn't do the makeup. He confessed that he knew this lie would eventually be exposed. Wen Rou then understood why he had always been so hesitant to have physical contact with Han Qing. Shan Liang, who had known about Zhong Yu's true profession all along and helped him hide it, acknowledged that Han Qing deserved to know the truth.
Zhong Yu pleaded to be allowed to tell Han Qing himself after he secured a new job, and Shan Liang offered his assistance in finding new employment. However, Liu Meng deemed Zhong Yu unsuitable for the show, stating his "senior experience" restricted him, and that "someone had objections." She then thanked Wen Rou and Han Qing for their efforts.

Shan Liang countered that lies eventually surface, drawing parallels to Wen Rou's own internal torment from concealing her 'pregnancy' secret and how it ultimately came to light. He suggested that Han Qing deserved to know the truth. Zhong Yu reiterated his plan to find a new job first, then confess to Han Qing, asking for more time, which Shan Liang agreed to help with. Later, Han Qing invited Zhong Yu to her apartment.
Using a fabricated story about a cockroach, she attempted to initiate physical contact, but Zhong Yu reacted strangely, offering to search for the insect or even move out himself. Wen Rou immediately asked if Zhong Yu had told Han Qing about his profession, to which Han Qing's ambiguous reply implied she was aware, but Wen Rou and Shan Liang remained puzzled, intending to give Zhong Yu more time to confess properly.
Han Qing, meanwhile, expressed excitement for her new life, eager to "embrace, kiss, and enjoy it," and asked if they experienced similar joy in their relationship. After much internal struggle and Shan Liang's metaphor about trust being like crumbling building blocks, Wen Rou finally confessed to him that she was not pregnant and only discovered this at the hospital. To her surprise, Shan Liang revealed he already knew. Dr. Wang clarified that Wen Rou was not pregnant, attributing her symptoms to a normal period and a distended belly from overeating. He reflected that like Wen Rou's "white lie," Zhong Yu's deception was also an "admission ticket to love" and thus forgivable. Despite their reconciliation, Wen Rou still felt Han Qing deserved to know the truth from them. However, Shan Liang advised against it, emphasizing that Han Qing was "not as battle-scarred" as Wen Rou and needed a more suitable moment for such a revelation.
Unaware of the full story of Wen Rou's non-pregnancy, Su Ziguang visited the show preparations and discussed investor concerns directly with Wen Rou regarding her 'dark fairy tale' theme, particularly its suitability for children and mothers, relaying that his boss, Mr. Feng, had advised him to communicate directly on important matters.
Meanwhile, Jian Jian was meticulously instructing the staff at the show to absolutely avoid any mention of children to Wen Rou, fearing it would upset her and Shan Liang, even suggesting resignation if necessary to prevent such a mishap.
