Her elders were disappointed, especially upon hearing it was a female colleague, expressing their hope for her to find a partner.
Meanwhile, Long Haoqian reflected on the morning's events, which, instead of being unpleasant, brought him a sense of joy. His thoughts were entirely consumed by An Ning.
