While Jiang Muchen helped Xia Yu pick out a good dress, he also carefully matched a bracelet for her. The salesperson couldn't stop complimenting Xia Yu's good fortune, as Jiang Muchen was really putting in effort for a woman for the first time. Xia Yu felt very happy inside when she heard this. After seeing Jiang Muchen, Xia Yu, who wasn't used to wearing high heels, accidentally twisted her ankle. Luckily, Jiang Muchen quickly held her, which made her blush and her heart race, and also gave her a different kind of affection for him.
Lin Wanbai wore a decent dress and held Jiang Muchen's hand to attend the banquet, leaving Xia Yu alone. Jiang Anchen received the news that Jiang Lao Ye no longer forced the heir to marry Xia Yu, so he lost interest in Xia Yu. Xia Yu waited until the shop closed and nobody came, so she had to wait outside. But by then it was raining heavily and the temperature had dropped sharply, making Xia Yu very cold. She tried calling Jiang Anchen but nobody answered the phone.
