Jiang Anchen learned that he must marry Xia Yu in order to inherit, so he rushed to the fishing village ahead of time. Just as he was about to take Xia Yu's hand, Jiang Muchen arrived. The two brothers directly started fighting over Xia Yu in front of everyone, leaving the crowd stunned. In the end, Jiang Muchen's superior skills allowed him to force Jiang Anchen to retreat by making him lose ten million yuan per minute. He then picked up Xia Yu from the ground and asked her to be his fiancée.
After learning that A Zhen's father was only a small factory manager under the Jiang Corporation, and that she was bullying Xia Yu, Jiang Muchen didn't let her off the hook. He had A Zhen tell her father to come see him with a resignation letter the next day. A Zhen was humiliated and blamed A Qiang for the situation.
Jiang Muchen took Xia Yu into his car to go see his grandfather. Xia Yu didn't want to go, as they didn't even know each other. However, Jiang Muchen insisted that she become his fiancée. Xia Yu didn't know why Jiang Muchen liked her, but she could tell that he was determined to have her, so she confidently reminded him to control his feelings for her or she wouldn't be able to handle it. This caused Jiang Muchen to rub his forehead in frustration.
Despite being forced to leave by Jiang Muchen's threats, Jiang Anchen was still determined to win Xia Yu over. So, he purposely leaked information to Lin Wanbai, telling her to intercept Jiang Muchen at the Lin family's house.
