Lu Cenyang and Bu Ran walked out of the Yi family home. This ghost incident concluded with Yi Mincai and Meng Kexin accepting Lu Cenyang's conditions. They promised not to trouble Bu Ran again and would do their best to prevent any future actions by the Yi family targeting Bu Ran. Bu Ran thanked Lu Cenyang. Lu Cenyang pushed his luck, asking Bu Huiyun to make him sweet and sour pork as a condition.
Bu Ran had no choice but to accompany him home for dinner. On the other side, Secretary Yao discovered that Lu Cenyang hadn't come to work. Yi Zihe called her and said that Lu Cenyang and Bu Ran had slept overnight in the tent at the construction site, telling her to give up on him early. Secretary Yao was very angry.
